Just as I have a different opinion that is no way to talk to a fellow supporter and is totally uncalled for

Dry yer eyes!

I'll reword it: your analysis of this game as been utter nonsense, IMO.

Only saw the second half but we were easily the better side.

Commentator saying that Spaniards were resorting to longer balls as they were second best on the deck.

Miller looked very good.

From tonight's I'd have said Miller, Kelleher and Ralston are solid enough physically to make it, but time will tell if the ability matches.

Kelleher is possibly even slower than O'Connell.....no idea who is scouting our centre backs but someone with a bit of pace surely isn't to much to ask.

Think Hill is injured...certainly still with Celtic

How was crossan?

Hill was very highly rated when we got him, did he not play for Hamilton first team at like 13/14? Wonder how he's doing

Crossan came on as a sub in the 2nd half. Looks really young and, unfortunately, spent the now normal few minutes pushing his fringe out of his eyes  . Had a deflected effort on goal, and held up the ball nicely on one occasion but didn't really do too much. Early days yet as he is settling into the team.

Mark Hill came on for the last few minutes of the game.

Calvin Miller did well and was energetic throughout. Nesbitt showed skill in flashes. Aitchison missed a golden opportunity early on.

Defence played well. Kelleher is dominant in the air but got caught the wrong side of players a few times.

I thought Thomson and Hendry were quiet enough in midfield - they are normally more influential,

Good solid Celtic performance. Lets hope we beat Everton in the final on Saturday.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Dominating a team doesn't make us technically better.
I'll give you Millar but not Hendry or Nesbitt they have done nothing in fact thomson has covered Lindsay more so id put him ahead of them two
It was Hendry's defence-splitting pass for one of Miller's goals and he played an identical pass just before it that almost led to a goal. Nesbitt's ball in for Miller's goal as well.

They had one player of note, their number 10 who looked a cut above anything else but only touched the ball a half-dozen times and couldn't get into the game enough.

I realise you watch a lot of youth games, but you're talking pish.

I agree, Lindsay has been poor, his superb goal notwithstanding.
Strachan made this point and think he's right,it's not that our young players are technically inferior it's a mentality on the ball thing. We pressed them very well tonight but at times we could have done with taking a fraction of a second more in posession.Probably an ingrained thing where good players expect inferior players to be right on them.

Think Calvin Miller has a bright future if he can keep a good attitude and stay injury free.

Love it when we grow our own.
