Roberts and Allan might be worth playing in the first team. I know Amrstrong and GMS give us pace, power and creativity at the moment but it's good to give less talented players a shot.
:Not sure if serious smiley: :)

Totally agree ... Could this is some kind of man-management ploy i.e. Don't bring the new lads, who're better than your current first picks for their positions, straight into the team, in case noses are put out of joint?

I mean that beyond any players in question, as football, like most walks of life*, contains cliques where people have opinions on team-mates/work colleagues (regarding their ability and/or sociability) that affects 'the group'.

*Including this forum.

Jesus Roberts wants to stop with this. He'll never get a first team opportunity being good
He's too creative.
It's all those forward passes. It'll never catch on. :ph43r:

EOGHAN O’Connell has joined Cork City on loan until July 1 this year. The Celtic defender hails from Cork and will be aiming to help his hometown club when they kick off their new League of Ireland season next month with a home game against Bohemians.

Eoghan came through the Youth Academy at Celtic and has made six appearances for the first-team, since making his debut against Ross County in March 2014.

He went out on loan at the start of this season to Oldham Athletic, but that was curtailed through injury and he returned to Celtic in November, having made two appearances for the English League One side.

Everyone at Celtic wishes Eoghan all the best during his time with Cork City.
