sounds like he has effed his knee ligaments :o needs surgery

https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=es&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fgolsmedia.com%2Fdavid-ruiz-se-rompe-el-ligamento-cruzado-de-la-rodilla%2F
The qualifying round of the UEFA Youth League has left a bitter taste in clothes of Valencia CF after today the extent of the injury to David Ruiz, who had to leave the pitch after fifteen minutes became known joining him. Guadassuar footballer, who came to replace Marc Ferris, went to the ground as he ran alone to clear a ball.

A David knee failed him and, although it was good, rumors about a possible ligament tear flew Celtic Park. The first explorations predicted many doses of hope, however tests have confirmed the worst outcome. Valencia captain has broken cross in his right knee and will undergo surgery in the coming days, although not yet known the exact date.

This was not the guy who "dived". It says this was their captain who went off after 15 minutes. FWIW, I don't think the guy dived. There was absolutely no need for him to go down. He was in control of the ball with options to either play it back to the keeper, or clear it for a throw-in. He could also have just protected the ball and possibly drawn a foul. I think he genuinely felt an injury and fell over, rather dramatically. Having said that, the ref and linesman should be ashamed for having called a foul.

10 Purposeful run inside by Roberts gives Allan a sight of goal but his shot is saved and then scrambled clear.

Joe McHugh ‏@videocelts 3m3 minutes ago
9 min, Roberts does have terrifying pace, could be a tough night for Dunfermline left back

oe McHugh ‏@videocelts 21s22 seconds ago
Scott Allan opens up Pars defence, Roberts cuts in from right then sticks his shot in top left corner of the net #cracker

Celtic Football Club ‏@celticfc 7s7 seconds ago
Roberts with a lovely finish off the inside of the post after a deft piece of control in the box.

2.0

Celtic Football Club ‏@celticfc 30s31 seconds ago
Roberts the supplier this time, darting along the byline and chipping the ball over the keeper, with McMullan applying the finishing touch.

4.0 roberts with a cheeky chipped goal

Joe McHugh ‏@videocelts now
4 0 outrageous chip from Roberts, cheekier than a bag if monkeys

Celtic Football Club ‏@celticfc 9s9 seconds ago
After a quick exchange of passes, Roberts collects the ball on the run & then sends an exquisite chip over the keeper into the far corner.

If he's playing for us on the wing? How to hide from the ball, not beat the first man with a cross and get outpaced by average cloggers

41 Roberts bursts inside, collects a return pass and forces Gill into an excellent save with a powerful drive.
