Naismith was at least cute with it. That's just utter pish and no one with eyes that work should be fooled by that.

How we got caught on the break with 5 minutes to go against 10 men is simply just terrible tactics.

Remember Jack Arcibald was born in 2000 so is only 15 or 16, he looks a good prospect.
Also thought the defense played well until we chased the game and lost, what is becoming, a typical goal.
We made the same errors as the first team and paid the price

Heard this morning on talk sport, that they pulled their best player from the match last night to play against Barca for the first team.

Their players look so much bigger and athletic than our lads.

The do indeed look bigger and more athletic. This week we can put it down to vitamin D deficiency - more sun and oranges in Valencia.

The way he falls is odd, but I actually thought it looked like he fell accidentally having jarred his knee or something. If it's a dive it's a particularly bizarre one. Shocking decision by the ref either way.

That's what I thought. I was watching him afterwards and he seemed to be moving a bit gingerly and was rubbing his Achilles.
Still a shocking decision from the referee though. :nono:

Our best player at that level has been in the 1st team for a while and another good one is out on loan.
Not so concerned at them looking bigger, they did look fitter though, which is a concern and no doubt makes the step up even harder to make.

I think you're being far too generous....scandalous dive :nono:

and what was the linesman doing...must have a clear view that our guy is two yards behind?

Yep. At that stage he is probably knackered and thinking he might get done for pace so decides to go down. Scandalous.

Aitchison. He played in the same team as my boy as a 7 year old and is the best talent I've seen before or since then by an absolute country mile. He's had Chelsea and Arsenal sniffing about him but has opted to stay at Celtic.

The qualifying round of the UEFA Youth League has left a bitter taste in clothes of Valencia CF after today the extent of the injury to David Ruiz, who had to leave the pitch after fifteen minutes became known joining him. Guadassuar footballer, who came to replace Marc Ferris, went to the ground as he ran alone to clear a ball.

A David knee failed him and, although it was good, rumors about a possible ligament tear flew Celtic Park. The first explorations predicted many doses of hope, however tests have confirmed the worst outcome. Valencia captain has broken cross in his right knee and will undergo surgery in the coming days, although not yet known the exact date.
