Nesbitt again. The boy is on a hot streak in these development matches. Give him some minutes Ronnie.

What position does he play, is it attacking midfielder? Seems to be banging in the goals and just signed to a new 3.54 year deal.

Young guys through to the last 32 of this European competition after beating hungarian team Puskas Akademia 3-0 (after losing first leg 1-0)

From Celtic twitter: A stellar showing from the Bhoys, with a brace from Miller & Archibald's goal seeing them overturn a 1-0 deficit from the 1st leg. #UYL

Dunno if they missed out through injury but neither Hill nor Thomson were playing tonight. Both are central midfielders and I wonder whether they might be being held back for first team availability tomorrow with Brown, Johansen and Bitton all missing

They weren't listed as subs either.

Two good players. Unlikely to start against Ajax but could find a place on the bench?

They are pretty much first choice picks at development squad level so I was surprised to see them missing out tonight. Might be injured but if not, with with three midfielders definitely out and Commons struggling / Mulgrew just back training. Don't think either would be thrown in to start but Thomson could make bench

Looks Joe Thompson was suspended dunno about Hill. Hopefully, they do get a place on the bench.

Yeah I had a feeling Thomson may have been red carded in last game but couldn't find a note of it in the match report.

I believe that children are the future... :ph43r:

Well done the youngsters. Hopefully this experience will help in their development and will speed up their progression through to the first team. I much prefer seeing a youth player make the breakthrough than a signing from elsewhere and would love to see a Celtic team comprising mainly of home grown players. Granted, it would ruin the transfer rumour thread but that's a small price to pay.
