That young lad Nesbitt scored another couple today.

Is he capable of starting league games for us?

European strip worn.

Probably the only time we will win in it.

Not the development side as such but see we are in the newly expanded UEFA Youth League. Previously it's been the 32 sides that have qualified for the CL Group Stages proper but has now been changed to 64 clubs with the youth champions of the top 32 UEFA members also involved in a separate 'Champions Path'.

Draw will take place tomorrow.

Meanwhile Celtic development coach Stevie Frail has quit the club after six years.

Frail, 46, started coaching at Morton in 2002. He joined Hearts in 2004 and then, after two brief spells as Jambos boss, switched to Celtic in 2009.

About time.

Changes ahead on the youth side.

Put JFK in as development boss and get a far more experienced coach in the first team

Youths drawn against HJK Helsinki in the first round of the UEFA Youth League. Winners get the winners of APOEL (Cyprus) v Felcsút (hungary). Good chance of making the last 16 with that draw you'd think.

PAT FENLON has emerged as a shock contender for the Celtic U20s job.

The Hoops are on the lookout for a new head of youth after Stevie Frail quit the post this month.

Fenlon is in charge at Shamrock Rovers but is believed to be interested.

The 46-year-old is still a legendary figure in his homeland following title wins at both Shelbourne and Bohemians.

And despite struggling to replicate that success at Hibs, the Hoops are keen on him leading their up-and-coming stars.

UEFA squad for u19s:

http://www.uefa.com/uefayouthleague/season=2016/clubs/club=2605554/squad/index.html

Much better than our website as a relatively comprehensive list of our youth squads. None of the loan players are included obviously. There's also no Luke Donnelly (who has been absent bar 45 mins since pre-season). Anyone know if he is on loan/injured/ too old to be eligible for this tournament?

Five out of the eight Celtic U19s listed forwards have their birthday on the 5th day of the month. Any probability experts able to calculate the odds of that happening? (no prizes because of recession)
