Good to hear Charlie, Rogic and Derk got some mins. Albeit I have largely given up on the latter two. But they will be easier push on on loan/sell if they are fit.

I kind of get the impression that Derk's numerous u20s games this season haven't been so much about getting him fit again as it is about sending him a message that he's not first team material and persuade him to move on

I went along, Duffy worked hard and had two good finishes. Big number 17 looked good when he came on for Mulgrew, not afraid to run at players.

Luke Donnelly. Seems to flit between midfield and up front

Is there no tickets for the Youth Cup final? :ponder: I read on the fishal site there would be no general sale and no pay at the gate. Will season ticket holders get to buy tickets? I know that the Glasgow Cup final was behind closed doors. It would be disappointing if this was too. :(

I think it is behind closed doors on the advice of the Police.

Pathetic really.

Pathetic is right. :nono: I've really enjoyed going to these games in the past. I took my Dad to the one against Queens Park a few years ago when we put 8 past them. :worthy: That was a good night.

I read on the fishal site that it is live on You Tube so at least that is something.

It would be good if they could win this and join in on the party on Sunday.

Celtic youth coach Stevie Frail focused on wresting cup back from Rangers in Hampden final

CELTIC'S development squad coach Stevie Frail believes his players are ready to reclaim the Youth Cup from Rangers.

Hampden will host the Old Firm final on Thursday with Frail's men determined to wrestle the trophy away from their old rivals who won the competition a year ago.

Frail was glad to get the league season done and dusted, as he and his squad can now focus completely on what is certain to be a memorable match at the national stadium.

Frail, speaking on the Celtic website, said: "Now we can start talking about the final.

Hopefully Thomson is back for the cup final.
If he hadn't been injured I'm sure Ronny would have gave him a run out.

He's only been full time since January.
The boys obviously going to need time to get up to speed.

I feel Duffy is played out of position. He isn't a striker but fills in when McMullan isn't playing then again McMullan isn't a striker either but has a better scoring ratio than most.

I would have Duffy and McMullan on wings and Thomson more central either as dropping/linking number 9 or rooming number 10.

This whole publicised youth cup is part the failure of Scottish football's youth development.

Short term success over long term development.

Congratulations to the Under 17s on winning the league title last night, completing the double

Hope the 20s can lift the cup as well...plenty of talent coming through although we are lacking in certain positions

I have every confidence in Ronny that he will give them opportunities to prove themselves.

I apologise for being a bit of a technophobe, but can somebody explain about this match being on you tube tonight? I haven't watched anything live on you tube before and would like help on the process.
