Where did they get the hun commentators from? Is it hun TV? "Celtic win their 32 Youth Cup but they'll do something to reach Rangers record of 47." What is it with the huns and talking about records? Fraser Aird and some other no mark hun commentating.
Sevco have never won The Glasgow Cup.......
They have - their plucky youngsters won it in their first ever season.

The full game can be found here:

It's worth skipping to 1:23:17 to hear one of the greatest pieces of co-commentary work from Fraser Aird.
Big games like this.........

Congratulations to them.

In all honesty, these victories mean nothing unless a few of the lads graduate to the first team.

I was actually really looking forward to watching this on the telly last night. That was until I realised it was at Hampden, with no fans. Why have they moved it from Firhill? Because of the crowd trouble? It really ruined it for me, was looking forward to 7000 fans, pyros and the lot. Everything you don't get with a normal senior game these days.

The Glasgow Cup Final (in present format) moves around. Last year was at Celtic Park, the season before it was held at Firhill, the season before that it took place at Ibrox.

You never got that with a "normal senior game"

Regan Hendry and Calvin Miller look good from what I've seen of late - anyone watch the boys regularly and report on who could make the step up in the next couple of years?

I was delighted with both the victory and the manner in which it was done. Thought we dominated the vast majority of the game and could clearly see some of the players revelled the occasion despite the pressures of being in a cup final (Having seen many a senior professional freeze in similar situations). Naturally not every player will continue to progress towards the first team, but we do have several excellent prospects and wish them well on the next stages of their development.

Boerrigter came off with what looked like a muscle strain with ten minutes left to play

Jack Aitchison is an U15s player who came on for the U17s in the Glasgow Cup final. I saw this lad play at U8s and in 10 years of coaching he's the best I've seen. His natural ability was 2nd to none. He even scored an overhead kick at 7 and I haven't seen that in boys or youth football either before or since.

Hope he keeps progressing and the game time with the older lads should help.

He wasn't very good at all today.

Tom Rojic was way off the pace and was also substituted.

Michael Johnstone took his goal very well after a great run from Joe Chalmers.

He looked very good, posed much more of a threat than the other lad up front. He really caught the eye, had good feet.

Very good balance and it shows with his ability with both feet. If you've ever seen the McGeady video stuff from when he was 9,10,11 it's very similar to what Aitchison was like as a youngster.
