Anyone seen the footage of the first touch and flick from Dembele? I've no idea how to put it up here but you will see it on the official SFA page on twitter.

Unbelievable!

Aye, saw that earlier. Boys a talent. Hopefully his head won't be turned by the big money offers that will come his way soon enough from the likes of Chelsea.

Of all the clubs a young boy should go to, Chelsea must be near the bottom of the pile.

Well I agree, hopefully young Dembele looks at guys like Islam Feruz and sees his immediate future here under Brendan. It's easy for us as Celtic fans to say but he really would be best served staying with us.

Not at all. They are probably one of the best for producing players at the moment.

Nah, not having that. We definitely promote (admittedly because we have to) a decent number of players. It has been improving markedly since BR came in too.

I think most young players join a club because they see themselves, at some point, playing for that team. Chelsea pick up an incredible amount of talent every season, usually the cream of football from across Europe if not the world. That some of those boys go onto have careers in football is inevitable. The number of them that make it with Chelsea is minuscule. If a kid is signing for Chelsea with the eventual aim of making it there, he'd be better off with a Southampton, Fulham or dare I say it, Celtic, as the chances of making those first teams is far greater.

It's a moot point really as most of those kids are jazzed up by the name, their own egos and the promise of training with some superstars. All I'm saying is that if it were my son who had the interest of some big sides, I'd be looking to put him somewhere that not only improved his skill set but had a track record of developing players in their first team.

That is one outrageous talent on our books. Hopefully he is well advised by family, friends & club to develop for the foreseeable future at Celtic

It was the Jock Stein friendship cup at Albion Rovers yesterday, young hoops won 7-0.

Used to be a decent few hours out but it's been poorly advertised for the last few years. Incidentally, bar a good cup draw it's Rovers biggest payday of the year.

I took my 6 year old to it. It was a decent performance but it's hard to judge the players as The Rovers were rotten. Mark Hill looks a player though.

What year did we start the partnership with St. Ninians? Are Ralston and Miller from the batch who spent their whole secondary school lives there?

Joe Thomson joins Livingston until January

I would have hoped that he had joined a SPL team on loan, but if he does well at Livingston, he might get another loan spell in January in the SPL

He was joining Kilmsrnovk until someone at Celtic blocked the move

I think the kids who were born in 2001 were the first to go to St Ninians from the start of S1.
I'm pretty sure Ralston moved to St Ninian's at the start of S3.
