He's technically good and more than capable of making it in the top division IMO but it's always been obvious he doesn't have the all round game to make it with us. Surprised he's still here.
It's not always been obvious at all. Unless everyone knew Brendan was coming in and taking us to another level.

Are we maybe reading too much into his little brother making the bench and not him? Maybe Liam needed the match fitness more than his brother (hence him playing against Swansea youths), and his brother was mainly there as filler/for experience.

He made the bench for only 1 of our last 11 games last season, and has appeared in a match day squad only once this.

Looks like he's done here.

Shame, I've always liked him as a player. Hopefully, he gets a decent move in Jan and can show what he can do.

I would agree that he is better off getting a competitive game, even with the kids, rather than warming the bench. But no doubt his lack of appearances suggest he will not be here much longer.

Rodgers must see something in the lad or he'd have punted out to get more game time.

Maybe this will give him more motivation to kick on.

I've always been a fan but he's clearly falling out the picture.

I thought his brother might have been in because of his age but forgetting Ajer and Edouard were both in the squad. He'll be desperate to leave now.

Against PSG young team I thought he looked very promising indeed.

If he hadn't been playing for us that performance might have been funny.

Abominably slow, man.

First game at this level since March is it? But aye let’s crucify him :ffs:
I like him but facing facts he’s not going to make it at cp but he’s just a kid living the dream, maybe be better asking why a combined total of 8m have no drive?
