Thought he did better in his 45 than Armstrong did in his.

I think this guy could play a big roll in the march to ten.

I wonder if he picked up an injury in the first half. Armstrong was sent out to warm up, stripped, but wearing a tracky top, looking like he was about to come on.

Couldn't see any obvious candidates at the time.
Armstrong was warming up beside the goal at halftime so it was always likely that he was going to come on.

Henderson looked lost during the game and Armstrong's strong running when he came on showed that it was the correct decision by Rodgers to take Liam off.

Both Henderson and Armstrong were rotten on Saturday.

I like the kid.
Also the best dead ball player at the club Griffiths aside.
I'm not really sure why people say this.

Those two corners for Hibs?

His deliveries for us are usually pretty average, and at the weekend were poor.

You got anyone better in the squad?

And no, not the hibs corners, the ones he's taken for us. I think only Griffiths seems better with a dead ball.

I remember a cutback to Sinclair, but other than that...

I think Armstrong and Roberts take good corners, but neither of them get a look in these days.

I don't think we've got anyone particularly or consistently good with corners. Been a bugbear of mine for years now.

Out swinging corners is a bugbear of mine.

Goalies in Scotland can't deal with crosses- chuck it in around his head, and get in on top of him.

The other downside of outswingers: how often they result in counter attacks.

That semi-final with ICT...

My feeling is that it's less to do with the corner taker and more to with the fact that, with the possible exception of Boyata, we just don't attack the ball at corners.

Aye, hard to attack a ball that barely gets past the first man though.

I love Sinclair but by god his corners are poor. Thinking all the way back to the dead ball genius of Nakamura, he was terrible at corners.

Big Mulgrew could hit a good corner. Sometimes.

Can't remember our last consistently good corner taker. Surprising that the likes of Rogic and Sinclair are so pish at them when they are pretty decent at FKs.

Charlie Mulgrew takes a decent corner.

Edit: Beaten to it.

At times he did, was very inconsistent with them though.

I agree that Armstrong wasn't as good as he has been but he did put in a shift which will help get him back to fitness and hopefully regain his sharpness quickly.

When he whipped them in his corners were good.
Then he started mixing his deliveries up, and they went rubbish.

A squad of 25 with Henderson or a squad of 24 without. It's not that big a deal if the manager has no intention of playing him.
