Excellent for about 55 mins, seriously impressed by his passing and energy. He was cream crackered by the time he went off. Hope he gets his chance.
he actually went off with an injury

I disagree with this.

We should be loaning out the young players we think will make it, not the ones we dont.

Henderson has the talent to make it, he should be loaned out if he isnt going to be starting at least half of our games.
Thought it a bit strange that he seemed to have fallen out of favour with the manager after he had a really good pre-season and some good performances early in the season. Came across as a bit "cocky" early on, and this might be the reason he has been left in the youth team, to keep his feet on the ground :ponder: Can't honestly say that he has ever let us or himself down in any of his appearances. Seems to have great ability and maturity for his age and I think he should be a regular in the first team squad, but I suppose the management team should know what's best for his development, and if that means a loan out to Thistle for the rest of the season, then so be it.
there is no chance of this lad going out on loan to anybody this season, he will be staying at celtic

We should be able to play a couple of youngsters in this league ,no need for him
go out on loan.
 listen to the gorbals bhoys and you might learn a thing or two

would still send him out on loan if hes not going to get a game every other week.

he could be starting every game for a top flight side rather than wasting away in the u20s which would only harm his progress
i always thought you sent young players out on loan who had no chance of getting into our first team sqaud , that is not the case with this young lad
Why would you do that?

We have failed miserably in bringing young players through because we keep the 'best' ones so they can win pointless under-age leagues and cups. The best ones should be going out on loan at 18, (not 21) as first team football will improve them as players.

I think Henderson is good enough to start at least half our remaining games this season, but if the coaching staff think sending him out on loan would be a good idea I'd be fully behind it.

As I said in the match thread, a real breath of fresh air tonight. Added an extra layer to the midfield, really composed and intelligent with how he used the ball. Also a great wee team player, rather than a McGregor who cuts inside and looks to shoot himself.

Hope he gets a long run in the team and like with any youngster, we don't have a go when his form will dip a bit.
Am I the only one seeing irony in the last part of that statement

Well that's encouraging, as long as it's only a wee knock. Definitely want to see him start the next one.

Think he has played in a few development games and bossed them completely recently.
Its always good to see one of our own coming through.

Was he injured at the start of the season? Seems like the type of player RD would like in his team. Hopefully he can get a decent run of games now because on last nights showing he deserves it.

Like a lot of our chaps he got some absolutely brutal, unpunished treatment at Rugger Park. He started one counter attack from the left back position, and he was involved when it nearly ended with a goal. But I wouldn't be surprised if LH's injury cam from the vicious late hit he took after he effortlessly brought down a high ball and got the move underway. Scottish football in a fecking nutshell.

Fortunately, unlike so many other bright young talents that have been snuffed out by the hammer throwers in our game, Liam is a big lad who seems more than capable of dishing out a "straightener" to snide, SFA-sanctioned cowards like Lasley et al. Get in there, my son!!!

I like this kid. If he keeps it up and fills out a bit he could. Be a very good central midfield player for us.

Strong, can pass, takes up great positions to receive the ball and has a real confindence about his play. Has a great chance of making it.
