People have seen enough. The age thing is a maybe a bit of saver but he is 20 now and the excuse a wearing thinner.

More often than not, if you're going to make it with us we would know before they're 20. Tierney, Forrest(initially) , Dembele, Mcgeady, Maloney and much loved Roberts all had something about them by his age. He's not. He's excruciating average and for the team and the style we want to play under Rodgers he's quite frankly a mile effing slow.

He went to Hibs, and near the end couldn't get into a team that had Fraser Fyvie and Dylan Mcgeough in it.
He was knackered. It was towards the end of his first full season .
It's not true, he started 7 of Hibs last 10 games. Alongside Fyvie.

Like fans of all big clubs, ours are not the most patient. I still think he has the potential to make it. I don''t see him getting much credit for setting up the only goal in Tuesday's game, which I think showed some smarts on his part.

it always amazes me how quickly some of our fans like to slaughter young scottish players who come from our youths?
'slaughter' = have the opinion that said player isn't quite good enough
not necessarily you can have an opinion that they are good enough or not thats fine. What im talking about is from reading the threads on here there are posters who cant wait to point out mistakes the younger players make or what they done wrong and as a result thats it they are not good enough or pish. Yet many times senior/established players make the same mistakes and it isnt jumped on in the same way? You only have to look at the miller thread and there are plenty of people highlighting errors and writing him off after one game yet no mention of the guy who replaced him (izzy) nearly causing a goal by being caught out of position and then picking up a stupid yellow, all within 5 mins of coming on, yet his thread hasnt been bumped.

i just think sometimes we are too quick to criticise the youngsters, they will make mistakes its what young players do when they are learning.

He has no left foot. He's not good enough to compensate for that fact. He won't make it with us.

The left foot he used to score a great goal for us v Hamilton to keep the pressure on league leaders Aberdeen, that one?

He's pretty obviously right footed, but there's no way he's so right footed that this is the main criticism you can have of his game. It's not painfully obvious like it is with other players.

Squirrel eff all. He very very rarely uses his left foot. Made simple passes harder than they had to be due to his refusal to his left foot. If folk actually watch him play tbisxus blatantly obvious.

He is painfully one footed.

Next time he plays, watch him closely.

I think his age is the saving grace, it has taken Forrest until now, at 25, to really turn in brilliant consistent performances.

Needs to improve though but is worth a new deal and at least a few more seasons yet.

Deserves a bump, he has looked average this season, I thought he was a brilliant prospect when he first broke into the team. His passing was excellent today, great vision.

Great play for the 3rd in particular today. Looked really good when he came on. This painfully one footed thing is a total myth.

I thought his contribution to the 2nd and 3rd were both equally as good. Two lovely weighted passes to Tierney who himself set up both goals very well.
