He's only 20 ffs. Writing him off already is mental.
I wouldnt say hes done and not shown any talent. I think its clear though that our ambitions should be above what weve seen of McGregor and Biton and Liam in all honesty is behind them in the pecking order.

I read the article as showing his intelligence and passion for the game. A rare thing these days.
There is no lack of ambition in anything he said, he states he wants to stay at Celtic and try to make it with us.
He also knows his place in the history of Hibs. I imagine he'll forever be invited to various club and fans functions, their version of the Lions.

It's a shame some folk want him out the door because he shows affection for another team. Leigh Griffiths anyone?
I have No problem with him supporting another team or even going to their games.

He's a Celtic fan. The interview was about his time at hibs though.
No different to Pat Stanton talking up Celtic whenever he gets asked. If only that wasn't where the comparison ends.

Pat Stanton no longer plays for Hibs or Celtic.

Not the same at all.

I read the post.

My point stands.

A current Celtic player should not be saying that he would love to join one of our domestic rivals.

As the current holders of the Scottish Cup they are.

Also, unlike when sevco were still on their journey,we do have a long history of playing them.

I think he's very aware of who stands ahead of him in the pecking order and is (quite fairly in my opinion) keeping the door open for another loan move in Jan. The boy knows that he needs to be playing to progress and, after the success of last season, also knows he'd very welcome back at Hibs so I see nothing wrong with him saying that. As much as Celtic is his club (and it clearly is from what he's said) to put his career on pause for the sake of potentially offending some people is daft.

My view of him is that he could be an excellent player for the SPFL and would do a job already if we didn't have better options already here. He is only 20 and writing him off is just silly.

BR has a record of improving players, Armstrong who is older than Liam being the latest to benefit. Henderson will get his chance as Brown is the only centre mid who is a certain starter.

It's a leap from the Championship to the SPL and he might or might not prove good enough. The manager will know once Liam has had more game time.

How long is his contract with us? I think he's got enough potential to make him worth holding on to, but I'd definitely be for sending him out on loan again in January and possibly again in the summer to get some more experience. Wouldn't normally be keen on sending him back down a league but he'd get more games at that level and in Lennon they've got a decent manager who also obviously knows what it takes to play for Celtic and can help teach him that, so Hibs again would be fine in January.

It's about his time at Hibs. Quit interesting, really, his wee stat about outswinging corners. I wonder if he's right into his stats.

I still think its too early to decide with henderson, i'm leaning towards keeping him til the summer. Hopefully he should get more of a chance over the winter where we are playing a lot of games, lets see how he does with that.

I certainly wouldn't right him off yet but he should be looking for another loan for the second half of the season.

Preferably to a Championship club rather than SPFL/Scottish Championship.

He needs to be playing football and, unless we have a horrendous run of injuries, he won't be getting that here any time soon.

Free kick aside, still frustrates the life out of me. Until he learns that every time he gets the ball, he doesn't have to try and do something special, he will not make it. In that half alone I counted 3-4 Hollywood passes that were intercepted and a ridiculous left foot shot that went 10 yards wide. Big season and big game for him but has never impressed me enough to be playing ahead of any other players
