Definately think he's a replacement for brown. He's not scared to leave a bit in the opposition either which I like.

We wanted 400k from hibs for him plus sell ons apparently. Hibs couldn't do it,but if someone else can I think he might still be off.

Considering they rejected a decent bid (or did they..? :suspect: ) back from Cummings, surely they can't be strapped for cash?

Really like the look of Liam. Couple of times he tried a hard ball when there was a simple one on but i think this is just a case of trying to show the manager what he can do.

I'd have him in before Armstrong for sure and maybe McGregor before too long.

Thought he looked the part when he came on. Penalty incident aside obviously.

In that he went blootering in when he didn't need to?

He's rash and his much vaunted set piece wizardry must've been left on Leith Walk.

Need to see more of him. Played okay when he came on Saturday but again I find it really difficult to judge players when they do not get a run in the team...5,6, 7 games. 20 minutes here and there - I cannot make my mind up on the fella.

Most on here seem to think he has something - I’ve yet to see it on the pitch. Maybe used for backup this season and maybe he will be happy with that. Armstrong has had a run and never impressed at all so cant see him fitting in. Johansen (I think) will go before month end.

Leaves Bitton, Broon, McGregor, Christie, Commons, Rogic, - all looking for a central mid place. Along with a further creative player manager has said he wants so that more than likely points to a midfielder again.

Henderson is up against it. Would like to see him go out on loan again but the player may not want it…tricky one for him. Club seem to rate and like him but playing time will suffer.

I really like this kid. I saw him play in person against Dinamo Zagreb. Thought he did great; almost scored the equalizer.

he was doing very well imo when he was getting a run in the team before RD sent him out on loan 2 yrs ago. glad he has been involved/featured recently and hopefully he gets more of a chance as the season goes on.

I'm new. Be gentle.
I think Brendan will add some more quality to the squad, putting Hendo even further down the pecking order. A potential class player like him needs regular match time, so another loan deal, despite his reluctance, might be on the cards. Question is, where to? Hibs might be an obvious choice but surely there are more options.

Did fine although he tired a bit at tbe end but that is probably due to lack of games. Looks like he can step in for spfl games when needed.

He wasn't great on Saturday. Looked slow which earned him a stupid booking and his much vaunted dead ball ability was non existent. He has a long way to go to be a first team regular with us.

I thought he did well on Saturday. Kept the ball moving well and was strong in the tackle. Nearly sent Griffiths through on gaol too with a great ball over the top. Seemed very obvious BR had obviously asked him to sit deep most of the match, as his usual instinct is to get up the pitch further.

Slight criticism, he wasted a couple of corners and agree with Remy he definitely looked gangly and slow when sprinting to balls. Definitely not blessed with a turn of pace and might well be why Rodgers wants him sitting in that 'Bitton' position.

Don't think he did too badly over the piece, although he looked a bit rusty first half.

He did ok, not bad, not great. As others have said not easy to judge a player when he only gets fleeting appearances in the first team. Armstrong has had plenty of chances but is a lightweight and is no better than Henderson. I would like to see more of Christie and a bit surprised we haven't. Doesn't look as though BR rates him above the two mentioned and there must be a reason for that.
