Let's sign no more players just cos they shine against Scottish championship dross please.
Or bring a young player of ours back after two successful loan spells?
John Mcginn is a Celtic player?

When did we sign him and loan him to Hibs and some other carrot?

Liam's had a great season at Hibs, has a great attitude and given he's only 20 could go on to do great things. But at the moment he's not at the level Allan was at last year and he's not even our best midfielder, a bit behind McGinn and probably Dylan as well if he could stay fit.
I think the boy McGinn is a good prospect
Of course he is. He should be our first purchase. He has Celtic connections through his family/father? Speared by Steven Thompson at St Mirren and lived to tell the tale :)

He is fated to play for Celtic, I tell you...

Get him in now, Brendy.

He is a grandson of ex-Celtic chairman Jack.

His brother scored against us a couple of times for St Mirren. We definitely should have signed John.

Hibernian manager Neil Lennon has confirmed that he is hoping to sign Israel goalkeeper Ofir Marciano and Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson.

The Scottish Championship club are in talks with 26-year-old Marciano, who was recently with Royal Mouscron in the Belgian Pro League.

Henderson spent last season on loan with Hibs from the Scottish champions.

Lennon says an approach has been made for the 20-year-old and he is waiting for a response.

Hopefully only on loan, Henderson's a crackin' player.

If he goes, he'll end up with much more first team experience at 21 than the likes of Maloney, Liam Miller, Jamie Smith and McGregor. Definitely worth giving a real shot next year.

Yeah, more first team exoerience playing against Championship teams.
The same teams we slated rangers players against. Anytime the media or everytime the media enthused about how a rangers player had shone in the game, there was loads of comments on here and on the radio that they were playing part timers / no one.

I would rather, if Liam is to go on loan, he goes to an SPFL team and see how he copes with the SPFL type of player/game.

Not in Dublin with the squad, must be for the off, which is a shame.

I'm surprised he's surplus to requirements this season. Much rather have him in the team than Armstrong, for example.

True but it's still better than reserve football that those other guys were playing. And if it's Hibs he'll be working with a manager he knows and likely he'll be playing in a team that are favourites for most games and having greater posession, similar to us.

Sevco playing in that league was slightly different because their budget was astronomical compared to some of the semi pro teams and no one was raving about Hendo in the papers the way they were about Tavernier and Waghorn.

I'd add Allan to that list as well.

Odd.

Wouldn't be happy if Henderson was allowed to leave permanently for Hibs. Strange, strange move if it happens.

Would prefer we gave them Allan back for nothing.

Are Hibs the only side interested? Surely he'd be a decent signing for most Premier League clubs

I'd be happy to see him go on loan to a SPL or English Championship side this season.

Happy to sell him. Don't think he'll make it with us, flatters to deceive.
