Is this the same Liam Henderson that was getting it tight at the begining if the season?
As I have said before he has not exactky set the Championship on fire, so what would he bring to us?

He has been away for a couple of years on loan to two clubs, has it made him a better player or has he found his level
I think he has found his level and any new manager coming in will look at the players that have been playing this season before looking at our loan players.

He is a good player but I dont see him adfing anything to our team.

Unfortunately that is the level we have reached, looking at Liam Henderson, and thinking he might be an improvement, an average player may improve us, I get really annoyed by this, not at the fans discussing it, just by the fact that our board has allowed this to happen.

Decent player, and he'll make a living out the game but we should be aspiring to better in our midfield.

Only 20 and with massive potential imo. He has shown outstanding leadership quality in that Hibs team all year, and in many respects has carried the team. He never hides from the game, has good touch, can see a pass and has great attitude. I'd have him back tomorrow.

I think this lad will only get better. Can't understand people writing him off so early. Give the kid a bit of space and time to grow ffs.

He was dropped for a while so would hardly say he's carried the team. He's been mainly decent with some very good games thrown in.

He's played well over 50 League games and spent time abroad in both Norway and the East Coast, racking up good experience at a young age. He will get his chance I'm sure, I think he has potential to he better than what we have and we should be patient.

A half decent celtic manager would play him and develop him. He has bags of talent.

My Hibs supporting mate really rates him and says he's been their best midfielder this season, he is sorry to see him leaving.

Not seen enough of him myself to have a creditable view of his ability but he seems to be a good option for us next year.

He’s a talented player with a good engine and an eye for goal.
I’d like to see him playing a bit deeper than where Hibs played him.
A replacement for Broony? Or Bitton? :ponder:

It's more difficult for young players to come into this Celtic team and do well. In the past we've had reliable senior players who can help them and these senior players made up the core of the team with one or two younger players getting a chance.

Due to budgets or circumstances or a series of riots in the transfer market, we've now had Tierney, Simunovic, Armstrong, GMS, McGregor, Christie, Roberts, Rogic all playing regularly (with the exception of Christie). On top of that, the likes of Sviatchenko has just been thrown in, Griffiths is still really young and Allan and Forrest have entered the Eoin Jess Forever Young Club.

I'm not excusing them, because some of them just aren't good enough, and I understand this is the route we need to go down. I just think that unless we have a few reliable older heads in the team then some of the younger players who do have a bit of promise will get totally lost.

From what I've seen of him, Henderson could be a player for us. But if we stick him and McGregor in midfield together it won't help either of them.

It's normal for players to be sent out on loan to gain experience.

Bizarre stick to hit Deila with.

Seems to me like people are perhaps put off by the fact that he went to hibs on loan.

Henderson looked sure to make it with us when he broke through. He's definitely improved in the last two years but now people aren't so sure.

Purely going by what I've seen at Celtic, he's a very good young player.

I have however been impressed by his hibs performances.

Think Henderson has a lot to offer.

Put in many promising performances last season and this season at hibs can only have made him a better player. Also, he will come back more motivated than ever to try and make it with us.

Get a good pre-season under his belt and at only 20, can see him being a big part of any new manager's plans

Having watched GMS and Armstrong on the left of midfield this season I'm pretty sure Henderson would walk into our team and improve our team.Could work well with Tierney.
