It's hard to really judge his time at Hibs. He's looked alright anytime I've seen him but when you consider that clubs been a bit of a shambles for the last 3 or 4 months it will have been hard to really shine or develop. Bring him back in the Summer, give him some preseason games under the new management team then we can review where he's at.
Whenever I've seen him he's been able to pick a pass, something we are completely devoid of. Never gonna be a ball winner but hes not a coward either. At only 20 there's plenty of room for improvement.

Only seen him a couple of times at Hibs, was told he gets subbed almost every game, is it true?

Was disappointed to see him go on loan in the first place, always thought he looked good enough any time he played for us.
think he struggles for fitness quite often.

If Hibs get promoted it might be a good idea to leave him there another year.
They won't be getting promotion.

If we are loaning him out again i'd like to send him to a club down south.

Think he's a decent young player. Always gives 100% as well, putting him out on loan was a great move from us imo.

Against similar quality he'd be up against in the SPL.
nowhere near it
So, Dundee United and Kilmarnock would pump Hibs would they?

There are some mince teams in this league, and some better teams in the Championship.

There are better teams in the Championship than there are in the top flight?
Why don't the top flight sides then appoint these amazing lower league managers, and sign their players?

Yes there are. I wrote it above.

I'd fancy Falkirk, Hibs and Sevco to all be better than the likes of Hamilton, Killie, Dundee United. It's not a difficult concept.

Your second question is ludicrous.

Well we'll see in the playoffs.

Why is it ludicrous?

Why are players and managers superior to those in the top flight operating in the lower leagues?

Will he bring something to the team that McGregor/Christie/Allan cannot? I'm sure he's better than Johansen but that's damning with faint praise.

A loan move down south worked for McGregor!

I didn't write that, you did.

Anything can happen over a couple of games of football.

It's ludicrous because no team is ever going to spend money they don't have on a whole squad of players and manager.

But he's in a poor team. It's all relative. We were buzzing about him when he was in our team and he definitely isn't any worse than he was - Hibs has done him a lot of good.

Definitely room for him in our team. I thought he had a very good game on Tuesday night; put in the corner for their second, scored the other and put McGinn through 1v1 with a great flick before the terrible hand-ball miss.

Did it really though?

McGregor didn't look that great when he returned from Notts County. Was only after an extended run in the Celtic side that he started to look like a player.

Henderson should come back and challenge for a starting spot next season. He's good enough.

We'll never know until he gets back here and a new manager looks at him in action. For starters, I don't know where his best position is, and neither apparently do Hibs.

We have a policy (of sorts) not to buy that many experienced players. There is also likely to be massive upheaval in that middle area next season, and I am not too sure there is going to be that much experience left by the end of the next window if Johansen, Bitton and Mulgrew are away, all of which seems possible.

I'm not therefore convinced that padding out a midfield, beyond an injury plagued Brown, with the still largely untried and untested (Rogic, McGregor, Allan, Armstrong) will likely to work in Henderson's favour unless he somehow moves ahead of those players. I guess that's the challenge for him.

He's another that wont make it. Poor last night in a lower league game as he has been in most of the Hibs games I've watched.

Hibs fan in work says he has been really good for them but no chance he will ever be a Celtic midfielder.
I've a couple of pals who are Hibee season ticket holders ( poor bastards) who think he's a big diving feartie.

They support Hibs, wtf do they know?

(He was Hibs best player by a mile the other night, not that it's saying much.)

This much prefer to see him there than Johanson

Henderson is a decent young player but if he's in contention for a start in midfield next season, then I doubt we'll have progressed that much as a team and certainly won't be playing Champions League football.

Better than Johansen in the same way Christie and Allan were, and the way Ciftci was better than Guidetti?

Henderson has had a decent impact when he's played in the first team.

I thought Armstrong would have been a good signing but I think Henderson has more quality to his end product than Armstrong and Allan.

They haven't really been given a chance have they? And who said Cifti was better than Guidetti?!

Going south did help McGregor. He was scoring for fun down there and came up and started last season brightly. He was dropped by a manager that insists on playing Johansen every week and last year played mulgrew in midfield :ffs:
