Yet to be convinced he's better than what we've got but no harm giving the boy a chance.

Scored & assisted last night. Not good enough though.
Playing in a Championship playoff.
Against similar quality he'd be up against in the SPL.
nowhere near it

Henderson is good enough,he proved it with Lennon. I wouldn't have loaned him out personally,he could easily done a job for us this season.

Henderson has just turned 20 and has garnered a great more experience than many who come through our ranks. He's played for us both domestically and in Europe, he's played abroad and he's played a season for a top team in the most competitive league in Scotland. Henderson might not make it with us but he's got attributes that should see us giving him a chance as a squad player at least next season

I don't feel he is good enough, he hasn't exactly set the Championship alight.

When he comes back, with Stokes, they will make Hibs weaker but not us stronger.

Mind Mancini's face when Henderson came on against Inter and cemented one of their players in front of the dugouts

Plays with more energy than most of our get the ball, stop, look up, pass sideways, stand still, midfielders.

That was amazing.

Sprinted on and proceeded to kick utter eff out of anything that wasn't green and white.

He's got the talent but he needs moulded into the right player. I've seen him play on the left flank, number 10 and sitting deeper and he runs about chasing the ball too much at times. He's still very raw but is worth persevering with and hopefully if we punt some of the diddies in the squad he can get a good amount of games next season.

Occasional Substitute

i have said it before but i didnt really understand loaning him out this year. last year he was in the team and doing well (good goal against hamilton, consistently in matchday squads, came on and had the assist against inter) i guess it made sense to send him to rosenborg for consistent football and by all accounts that went well. but he certainly could've offered something this year given our struggles/his versatility. seems to have done decently well at hibs. high hopes for him next year

He was a substitute at Rosenborg.
Still needed regular first team football, something we couldn't offer him last season.

Too old for hamlet, too young for Lear

I think loaning Henderson out was an excellent decision and something we should do more proactively. I haven't seen enough of Hibs to comment on how he's done but he is still very young and from what I saw of him at Celtic I still think he's an outstanding prospect.

He certainly looks like he might have the attributes to be more of a complete midfielder than the plethora of lightweight, don't-know-their-best-position "No10s" that we've stockpiled in the last 2 years so I wouldn't be considering getting rid of him yet.

If Hibs get promoted it might be a good idea to leave him there another year.

Only seen him a couple of times at Hibs, was told he gets subbed almost every game, is it true?

Was disappointed to see him go on loan in the first place, always thought he looked good enough any time he played for us.
