I completely forgot until I watched it back the other day how good his assist was for Guidetti's last minute equaliser against Inter. The lad has potential.

Always thought he could make it with us however unfortunately with the midfield players we are signing I don't think he will get his chance with us.

Today's the 3rd great report I've heard this season about young Liam from a pretty decent/solid scouting friend I know. At hibs today for someone else yet our young 'un catches the eye.

I've high hopes.

Henderson has a real chance of being a player. He has great technique and can play any of the five midfield positions we currently play with.

Totally agree, especially if hibs get promoted. Getting games under his belt is better for both Henderson and the club, unless Ronnie sees him as a regular first team player and is willing to give him both atarts and sub appearances.

He's a great prospect.

Will he come back?

I'm hopeful Commons and Mulgrew go at the end of the season but even then he'd have Armstrong, Allan and Johansen to get ahead of.

That James Keatings was one I always thought had great potential here before his bad injury still time for the Bhoy to blossom at 24 ...

He doesn't have great speed but there is more to his game from what I've seen. What's the consensus from the Hibs fans watching weekly?

Impressed at the start of the season - tailed off , partly due to injury and now seems to be the fans favourite again after excellent performances in the last 3 games.

Seen as a creative player with very good delivery.

Living in Edinburgh I have a fair few Hibs fan mates, by all accounts he's still a bit of a rough diamond has shone in a few games but the consistency aint there yet. Could defo do with another season on loan next year getting a good 30 games under his belt in premier league.

Ive got a couple of hibs fan mates. One of them works at Hibs. (Not involved at all with the first team mind you) They all seem to say pretty much the same about him.
Good on the ball, Works hard and has great delivery. Pretty confident he can make the step up and make it with us.

The worrying thing is a couple of them have told me that for whatever reason he seems to tire quite badly in games! Seems odd for a guy his age! Particularly as hes been playing for them often enough to be fit!

I've heard something similar from Hibs supporting friends.

I'd let him stay another season. He'll benefit immensely from playing in a good, forward-thinking side that wants to play the ball on the deck. Whenever I've seen him for Hibs he's been a little up and down, but he's quite clever off the ball and good at making himself available for a pass.

Don't necessarily agree his tiredness is an issue, this is his first full season of football and he's playing in a side that presses relatively high up the park. More senior players than Henderson tire in that Hibs side.

Won a soft penalty yesterday, but from what I've seen of him at Hibs he's looked good. Agree that he could do with another season there as he seems to be developing well.

He looks the part, when Hibs play their top game it usually revolves around Henderson, must say though John McGinn looks quality too, all action similarly to Scott Brown

So who would have Henderson in the team instead of Macgregor or Armstrong then?
