Great move for him. After a few months in European football, he gets a season in Scottish football in a decent passing team, who'll have plenty of games against teams sitting in deep, and the odd game against the huns.

Overall, he should be well set up for what's needed to play at Celtic. Then it comes down to his ability, which he seems to have too.

Pretty excited to see how the boy turns out.

Think he's crack young player great news he signed a new deal would have rather his stay at club and loaned out MAcGregor but never mind
I'd have preferred to see McGregor go out on loan than Henderson too but Ronny obviously feels he needs to be playing regularly. I think he will be brilliant in that League and hope he comes home with a League winners medal. Good luck to Dylan too.

hibs would have to want mcgregor as part of the deal ,which they obviously didn,t

I can only assume Hibs said no to McGregor on loan.

Think he should've told them he wanted to go to an SPL club on loan.

My hibs supporting colleagues were raving about his performance when he came on, they are happily surprised we let him go on loan.

I had to agree.

Some quotes from hibs forums:

Quote:

Henderson is a player there is no doubt.

Henderson came on to warm applause replacing Dan Carmichael and by Sauzee this laddie is strong. Liam has me looking forward to the season, big, strong, hard (he was involved in a couple of bone crunching tackles) and oozing skill and confidence.

Few comments about him

What impressed me most was a couple of times when he lost the ball he showed real determination to win it back and I think he did so on both ocassions.

It's amazing. He stands out purely because he works hard, unlike the rest of the hibs team who were not prepared to graft for a second ball.
Very good three points today but they really should be embarrassed by that performance

Based on yesterday, I'd rather Mulgrew had been loaned to Hibs.

If he was a little more composed in the penalty box then Brazil 70 would have been in bother.

He had a brilliant first half but tired in the second. A run of games will do him the world of good.

Excellent first half but disappeared in the second.

Missed 2 chances - one a real sitter.
