Great move for him. After a few months in European football, he gets a season in Scottish football in a decent passing team, who'll have plenty of games against teams sitting in deep, and the odd game against the huns.

Overall, he should be well set up for what's needed to play at Celtic. Then it comes down to his ability, which he seems to have too.

Pretty excited to see how the boy turns out.

I have my doubts about letting this lad go as I think he could have made a good contribution for us this season. Regular games will do him good though - especially if be gets to play centre mid as I think that will be his best position.

Good Luck Liam. It's a great move for all concerned, and it should bring him on tremendously. Oh, and he might even win a League Title .

Shame he has been allowed to go out on loan again, as I believe he is a better player than Allan.
Hopefully he comes back and is able to get into the first team.
Would probably have been better having stayed at Rosenborg for the rest of their season rather than going to Hibs.
But I wish him all the best anyway.

I hoped to see more of him for us this year but I would rather he played regularly for someone and developed as a player than only feature occasionally and stagnate at Celtic.

Good luck to him.

He only made two starts at Rosenberg mate, much better having at Hibs who will give him much needed game time.
Their manager pointed out that he is very talented, but was lacking in fitness.
I'll surmise it was match fitness he was talking about, so it's best he's somewhere that he can play every week.
Henderson himself said that going to Rosenberg was a good experience for him, giving him a chance to grow up a bit.
Now it's about getting him as much playing time as possible and Hibs will give him that.

I think this is a great part of this deal!

I think Henderson has a real chance to be a top player. Seems Ronny does too!

He should be a first pick for Hibs so we'll learn a lot.

Great move all round.

We really don't.
Look at the players we had missing on Wednesday, and still he wasn't called upon.

Playing for a team expected to win every game will be fantastic for him and for Celtic.

It'd need Johansen and Armstrong to be injured or suspended for him to get a game in that position. Let him have a good run of games at Hibs for this season.

Think he's crack young player great news he signed a new deal would have rather his stay at club and loaned out MAcGregor but never mind
I'd have preferred to see McGregor go out on loan than Henderson too but Ronny obviously feels he needs to be playing regularly. I think he will be brilliant in that League and hope he comes home with a League winners medal. Good luck to Dylan too.

One of the players I'm most excited about. In 3 or 4 years we could be looking at a ready-made Scott Brown replacement and this move will get him regular first team football for a season at a time I feel it's just a bit too soon for him with Celtic. Hope he has a great season!

Again, gotta trust Ronny on this one. The lad needs to play week in, week out, so a move into a fairly competitive environment will suit. A stick on to be their POTY.

Would prefer to see him play at premiership level, but if there wasn't interest then so be it.

Didn't get much of a look in at Rosenberg.

Not sure I see the great player that every one else does.

He needs to play regularly and he's not going to get that at Celtic. In that respect it's a good move. Not convinced he should be at Hibs though. The standard of their league is very low.

The standard of the league is low,but their style will suit him.

Going by the rosenborg managers comments fitness is holding him back so this is a good move as he will play every week.

I like him, and I'm guessing that the delay in confirming the Allan deal was due to Liam seeking assurance he had a long term future here. Hence the new deal.

Getting on a bit
[ * * * * * * * * * * ]
This lad has all the attributes needed to become a real top player. He can spot a pass, he can put in a real tackle, he can go box to box and he can score goals.
He remind me a bit of the young Davie Hay - so I would have kept him and played him.
On Wednesday we saw yet again how soft we are all over the park - especially when SB doesn't play!
Hope the lad has a good year and think that Stubbs is a decent coach - not sure if he's a good manager though!
