Today's weak bench shows why he should stayed in Scotland. Would have been a far more solid player to bring on than Tonev.

I'm inclined to agree.

Having to utilise useless dicks like Tonev while a promising player is shuffled off to Norway seems a bit mental.

Nonsense. Tonev, as much as he wasn't very good, wasn't why we lost today. We'd probably have still lost with Henderson in the side.

The performances of Izzy, Commons, Griffiths and, most importantly, the Referee were why we lost today. And while I'd have preferred to be bringing Henderson off the bench, it's unlikely it would have had a great bearing on the final score.

I reckon Henderson is going to be a fantastic player for us, and both parties are going to benefit far more from this loan spell that 30 mins in today's Semi Final.

I have heard rumours that the loan was for character building as well as football development.

He would have got all the character building he would ever need today .

Have to disagree
Today we lost far too many physical challenges all over the park
LH has far more aggression and stamina than many who were on the park today
Games are won and lost in midfield - SB and NB were out numbered and out muscled - LH would have given us more drive and pace in midfield IMHO

Absolutely agree and others will be wondering why Tonev ahead of them. Jamie Lindsay, Joe Thomson & Connor McManus for example
