disappointed with this to be honest.. ideally he should be ahead of stokes, mulgrew and McGregor when it comes to any of the midfield positions and I feel he should be staying in case we need him.

None of those players are currently in the first team. Henderson is already on the bench most weeks. He'd benefit more by playing every week for three months.

I read that if Bitton was injured them Liam wouldn't be going . which is fair enough. But if he's really that close to playing then he should still be here , Bitton or anyone else could get injured in the next game.Loan deals shouldn't be for players in our top 18 .
That said , i think this could be a great move for him , he's got great potential.

The Rosenborg fans seem pretty chuffed with this. Good club to go play for in a decent league. Great move for us I would think

Shame, was hoping to see more of him. However, if Deila thought he'd be sitting on the bench for the rest of the season, then it's a good move for everyone.

Getting on a bit

Like many I would prefer to see him stay and play for us!
He gives some real energy, dig and no little bit of skill to the midfield
Would play him ahead of Stokes any day!

A great opportunity for Liam, and a real chance for him to force his way into our side for the CL Qualifiers. Good luck, and come back better.

Good move for him and us. We have plenty of options in the attacking areas anyways.

Good luck Liam.

Would have liked the kid to stay until the end of the season ,earn a league medal [even though mostly sub]
and even on the bench if we get to the cup final.

Hope Rosenberg do to him what Dortmund done for Lambert. Bit surprised at this as I thought he was making in roads.

Good luck.

Got enough faith in Ronny to trust him on this one. I assume by going to Norway that he'll have competitive game time through the summer.

good luck to Liam, seems a good move, if he can come back and still pass a ball like he did to Guidetti against Inter or even improve on that then it works for us!
