Talk in the Record that a loan agreement with Rosenburg is being discussed, with Ronnie's blessing, although the injury to Biton could scupper it.
Talk on twitter was that this is based on a made up tweet on Celtic Rumours which the Daily Rebel ran with.

It's only relatively recently that I learned that he's the son of ex-Falkirk and Partick Thistle player, Nicky Henderson.

You definitely know you're getting old when you can quite clearly remember a current Celtic player's da being just a promising youngster himself
The resemblance is uncanny.

if and its a big if RD lets henderson go on loan (which i doubt) then it leaves a place in the squad for maybe odegaard to come in on loan from real madrid ? possible or wishful thinking ??

Basically a straight swap.

If we're sending Denayer and Guidetti back, can we also get Kompany and Aguero next season instead?

Stv describing 18 year old Henderson as a "fringe player" but consider 20 year old lewis macleod as a "wonderkid with a bright future"

I don't think Henderson will be going anywhere.

I really like Liam. He's a good player and a valuable part of the squad, I hope we don't loan him out. Reminds me of Liam Miller when he broke through, hopefully this Liam turns out a bit better for us!

millers loan spell in scandinavia done him great.

we dont need him at all this season. he wont be fighting for the 2 central positions yet and we changed the full front 4 in 2 successive games without him and had 2 huge wins. i think a loan deal could be good for him

Very true, Liam Miller did benefit from the loan move. However, Miller was 23 when he made his breakthrough, Henderson is still very young and he has developed very well so far. We are very close to a historic treble and I would like to have Liam available in case we have 3 or 4 injuries in the midfield positions. I totally trust RD to make the right decision on whether or not we should loan him out though!

I reckon we might need him for the semi final but I doubt we will keep him from going in loan for the sake of one or two games

would agree. i dont think ronny would loan him out without full talks with a club back home and knowing they would use him properly i suppose

nails point about the cup games is true also. with stokes suspended for the semi he could get a chance there. not like forrest or commons getting injured would be a huge shock and that would leave us down in numbers

paul the tim reporting the deal has gone through. 3 months

Think this'll be good for him. Going to be at a decent level playing week in week out rather than 20 minutes here and there for us. Got a lot of ability.

That we rarely seem to have players come back to us successfully after a loan spell isn't some kind of curse, it just shows how poorly we use the loan system. This is the type of move that should happen more often.

Surprised if we let Henderson go out on loan but not to worry folks, Charlie Mulgrew is back soon.
