This guy right here. This is the guy. Could end up being a very good player for us for a very long time.

technically sound, good energy and intelligent / imaginative in his passing. The tackles last night were just adrenalin and eagerness to close down, his timing is much better usually IMO
traditional Scottish looks as well

Very intelligent young player, at least offensively. Commits a few too many silly fouls but I'll put that down to overeagerness.
I think some of the silly challenges (not just by Henderson, but more senior players like Brown, Izzy etc.) are due to players anxious to show Ronnie that they buy into his philosophy of winning the ball back as quickly as possible after losing it. They were so successful at doing this last night that it's hard to criticize them for being a bit over-zealous, especially when we were chasing the game in the latter stages.

Six Scots made appearances last night, 5 of them starting. Not quite the Lisbon Lions, but the same spirited comeback from falling behind. Sowly getting back to our roots, maybe?

Think his attitude will take him very far, honest and hardworking, no sense of the I'm a famous footballer and I've made it mentality that has stunted many others before him.

Getting on a bit

When he came on he tried too hard to get up to the speed of the game and as a result he looked a bit cumbersome. He was lunging in when he shouldn't have been and his timing on tackles was way off, but he looks like he might be a brilliant player for us with a bit of polish, which European competition inevitably adds.

On the basis of his assured performances at the end of last season I thought he would have been in or close to our first 11 at the start of this season. Not sure why he wasn't but he seems to have responded well by making it impossible for the manager to overlook him. Hopefully we will see plenty of him between now and the end of the season.
