Not only is his attitude significantly better than Bittons, I think he's also a better footballer.

We need better than both, but McGregor is an ideal squad player.

Wrong thread to be discussing this but I'm going to anyway.

What's with the personal shampoo on the players? Pussys? Away to eff mate. This team have given us remarkable consistency this season and deserve a lot more respect than having that pish thrown at them.

Let's get it straight we didn't play well, our main players were off the boil for 1 reason or another. Got nothing to do with bottling anything or being Pussys.

Give yourself a shake and stop acting like a child. We are on the 13th of March and so far not 1 team has beaten us domestically. Have a bit of respect for the management team and playing squad

Looks like Ron decided he was the big baws sheriff in the town last night putting the squad and management in their rightful place.

I suggested after the st Mirren game that folk would turn against the team at first opportunity.

The performance was poor yesterday. We didn't started well enough and we sat too deep in the last 15 mins. From our goal until 70 mins we doninated it and created a number of chances. We messed a lot of those up and didn't use the ball well enough even then. Rangers also deserve credit for stifling us in first 20 mins and coming back in 15 mins before their equaliser. We had more possession and created more chances. We were still well below par individually and collectively but some of posts yesterday were a joke

That's how I saw it too. Liked how he held the ball well when under pressure. Did that a few times. Just over-hit a couple of through balls that might have opened up a chance.

Im not a fan of McGregor but agree he initially added tothe midfield when he came on for Bitton. Unfortunately, like a few of his teammates, he disappeared defensively after Armstrong went off.

He didn't cost us the game anymore than Bitton or Armstrong or Brown did, BR got it wrong we he took Armstrong off and didn't replace him like for like,i.e. a midfielder that can tackle and defend which isn't McGregor's game but BR asked him to do it, a learning curve for BR that no matter how good we are compared to Sevco, you need to win these games by digging it out and when Sevco got the chance to battle in the last 10 minutes the players they had on the park were better equipped to dig than our footballers like McGregor, Roberts, Sinclair, Griffiths and Dembele
Both br and Strachan blamed McGregor for the goal. A limited player who we usually get away with. We didn't yesterday.

He is great in a midfield 3 with a safety net behind him because he regularly makes the runs the creates space for the likes of Sinclair and Rogic to exploit. And he was doing that great until Armstrong was taken off and neither Leigh nor Dembele wanted to track back enough meaning that we were overrun in midfield and Brown was left trying to make himself stretch across the pitch because that isn't McGregor's game. He's not the type of player who can sit and break up attacks so when he pressed (as he needs to do 99% of the time anyway) after we were down to a midfield 2 there was suddenly loads of space all over the place for their players to exploit.

He's not the right player for the role and BR made mistake in leaving it set up like that when Griff came on. I think if Eboue was in there sitting behind McGregor alongside Brown they don't have the space to force the 'foul' which led to they goal.

Strachan the same guy who said we shouldn't have had a penalty? When did Rodgers say mcgregor was to blame?

Just shaded out Boyata & Jozo as my third choice in the MOTM thread. He's been a very consistent performer since Ronny Deila realised he wasn't an attacking midfielder and moved him deeper.
