Starting to come round to the bhoy. Never going to be a "needs to be in the first 11" for me but he is a tidy, squad player.

A handy player, the kind that stays above the deadwood and just below the superstars.
Ferguson had huge success at Man Utd with a few of these types of reliable squad played, guys like O'Shea, Phil Neville, Brown, Butt etc for the majority of times these guys wouldn't have been in a first choice starting 11 but they all played well over 300 games. I could see McGregor hanging around and doing a similar job under Rodgers.

He has a running style and passing technique that seems to have surfaced amongst professional footballers in only the last 10 years or so. It's kind of weird, flimsy and ungainly but works.

I like him. Just saying.
Funny how different folk perceive the same player. I would describe his style of running and passing as classy; most definitely not weird.
He's someone who you can identify from his running style - it's definitely distinctive. Same as Forrest - there's something camp about the way he runs sometimes.

He runs as you would with your shoes on the wrong feet.

Getting on a bit

Runs like he's lifting his imaginary kilt and flashin to everyone.

Decent when he came on today, never be a first pick with a fully fit squad but definitely worth keeping hold of.

Very cheeky.

Solid as usual, I'm really taking to him. He'll never been a first team starter but a very important squad player. Could end up having a very long and trophy laden Celtic career.

Noticed his run and very explosive at Sinclairs goal...still unsure of him all the same. Still a squad player.

Still a squad player but every team needs them. Always reliable when called upon. Done well again today.

Brilliant flick for Dembele at the fifth goal.

Doing well under Brendan - like so many others.

He is what he is, a good solid reliable squad player who will work hard and do us a turn whenever he's needed. Every team needs guys like McGregor around the squad.

He has a good rhythm to his play. Passes and moves, and looks to make forward passes. He seems a Rodgers type player, someone who works at his game and is ready well called upon. Having a terrific season.
