Great through ball for Roberts' goal. Had a few slack moments in the second half but generally put in a good showing tonight.

I'm really, really rooting for him. Would love for us to have a homegrown guy who tries to play football the right way in the centre of our team.
Should be in ahead of brown. Always moving and looking for a pass.

The role Brown was playing in the team tonight is made for McGregor. He always is moving and talking and looking for that pass. He's really great to watch and works extremely hard. Really rooting for him to take hold of the position in the team.

Heard people get on his back in second half for trying to play the through balls however they just weren't coming off.

If he learns how to tackle he'll be a hell of a midfielder. Slowly but surely coming into his own in midfield. Another youth making it.

McGregor's in the team on merit, and is certainly showing far more than he did out wide under the previous manager.

Whether he's the right player to be a Celtic regular long term is another a question, but a redundant one until we improve our squad.

I like him in that central role, and I think he'll start more often than not this season.

Ironically I've been a fan of Callum for a wee while now but thought tonight was one of his poorer displays was quite wasteful on ball and never carried the ball as well as he does at times. He's defo ahead of Brown & Biton for me in pecking order though.

He started showing far more last season, when our previous manager moved him into a deep midfield role.
You really don't watch Celtic at all eh.

Has been doing very well and in the team on merit, but didn't think
that last night was one of his better games. His passing in particular was off at times.

The team performs better with him in the team, I think he would be an even better player with a real sitting midfielder ie not Scott Brown, as he could be more offensive knowing that the back door is shut, IMHO.

A squad player for me but one that can play important first team role when needed and not just making up the numbers. Comfortable on the ball, sees a pass and eye for goal. A guy you want in your squad.

Rodgers wants fast passing and in my opinion, McGregor is the one of the best doing exactly that.

I thought he was poor last night.

I've never been a fan of his but he has deserved to be in the team recently.

Wasn't as good as he has been last night although he was probably still the most impressive of our midfielders.
