If he was a bad hair over the limit then he would have be fine if stopped in England. me.
He wasn't in England though.

That's like saying you can have sex with a 14 year old here, cos it's legal in Germany.

If he was a bad hair over the limit then he would have be fine if stopped in England. I suspect that many of the people wanting him hung out to dry for this are either too young to drive, or so holier than thou that they would fit in with the Christian Right.

I wonder how many of the Lisbon lions would have failed under the current drink driving limits. Many guys have had 1 beer and drove home.
There's no excuse for drink driving, that's not holier than thou it's a fact. MacGregor could easily afford a taxi, ffs these guys get paid enough to hire a driver for the night.

What have the Lions got to do with this? The laws have changed from then so it's a nonsensical argument.

Stop talking absolute shampooe :ffs: Who gives a eff about way back then. Times have changed and if your over the limit when in a car your risking your own and someone else life. Is that something you can't grasp? It's eff all too do with political correctness.

You go look over the stats for the number of people killed or injured by arsehole drink drivers whether 5 times the limit or just over. Go into casualties up and down the country and see the carnage it causes and the needless strain it puts on doctors and nurses.

Ronny_is_da_man is posting. Dogg your spot on

I lost a couple of close friends through an arsehole drink driver careering into their car. There is absolutely no excuse at all to drink drive. The limit should be zero but that's another debate.

There is plenty of limitations on people's ability to drive. Being useless drivers being the top one. Idiots who are racing up other people's arse, or swaying all over the place from lane to lane, when they are completely sober. I had to take my mothers car keys off her when I found her driving up the road the wrong way.

But by your standards, I would have thought players caught speeding should be sold as well, I suspect there will be more fatalities through speeding than anything else. So 3 points and your sold, what a load of crap.

What is this obsession with comparing behaviour with the Lisbon lions all about? Many of them acted like carrots as well, it was just more socially acceptable at the time. Some of the lions had carroty political views and other traits that should not be aspired to. They are by no means a yardstick by which modern footballers behaviour should be measured by.

:ffs: You seriously talk one lot of utter shampooe don't you. We know there's arsehole drivers out there but these idiots where good enough to pass their test so if they choose to act like arseholes then we just need to hope they get done when doing summat they shouldn't. Your maw should have her licence taken off her then before she kills someone.

Where have I said anything about him being sacked? That's for others to deal with. My annoyance is the fact he was thick enough to drink and drive and nothing else. Your just making up shampooe, not surprising, to try back up a frankly ridiculous viewpoint.

He has been caught and will, presumably, be held accountable by the courts and the club.

On another note, as limited a player as he is, we improved with him in the middle when Biton was out. How much of that is down to Biton an how much down to McGregor I don't know.

By your logic we should start putting boyata and ambrose on separate buses to the game as well and get them to take a Piss in a separate changing room.

Times have changed since the lions. Stop being a fud.

He was over the limit so he is a floof end of story. No doubt a good lawyer might get him off. I really hope mate no one close too you gets killed or injured by a drink driver because the fall out is horrendous. And completely un-necessary. Will it be morality police then or will you be wanting blood? My guess is blood :ffs:

As I said, you don't know the background. When you do then feel free to moralise. Until then, innocent until PROVEN guilty, if that's still a thing on here. I have every sympathy with you, sorry but this trial by media stuff does my head in. If the guy is guilty then yes he is an idiot but the fact is there must be a proper judicial process or at least some background to the story so we can get our pitchforks out with impunity.
