Another good performance from him, well deserved MOTM.

Shows a good attitude and has responded in the best manner, by knuckling down and playing well.
I like his attitude the best.

He is a brave player - always looking for the ball, even when playing in an unfamiliar position. And he's responded well to the criticism he has received.
Agree with those comments, and I was a doubter. If he keeps this up he has a real chance at Celtic.

I've panned the guy consistently but he has really taken his chance in midfield. It's lovely to see young guys like himself, Rogic and Armstrong flourishing

Hit the nail on the head. Always shows for ball. He has been involved in games when it may have been easier to hide (GMS & Armstrong at times) but he's brave enough to always show for the ball.

Also keeps the ball moving quickly in midfield. Receives the ball then quick pass. Keeps the tempo up. Last season his form dropped considerably towards the latter half of the year, let's hope he can keep it up this year.

The new Paul Lambert? :ponder: attacking midfielder turned defensive mid.

Has done very well over the last month and credit to Deila for seeing something in him at that position.

I'm not a fan. He has done well in the last couple of weeks and was good tonight. We shall see when the games get tougher.

Not necessarily a fan of mcgregor himself but i like the idea of that type of player smack bang in the centre of midfield. He always looks for the ball and starts the play from deep. Plays with the head up and creates and takes a wee chance every now and again.

Played very well.

Looks a different player to the timid wee boy of last year.

Remember Ronny commenting how affected Calum was by the reaction of the crowd to his mistakes - he seems to have toughened up.

Good on him.

Was lukewarm on Callum but certainly warmed to him tonight. It was a far more rounded performance that shows he has the potential to be a consistent first-team player.

Have noticed he is much tidier and decisive on the ball. If he can continue to up the tempo while maintaining possession we may have a player on our hands.

Was always a central player.

Also, while I have slated him time & again, I'm going to give him his due and say he has done really well since Ajax.

However, we've been here before with McGregor, hopefully he can keep it up.

Best player on the park tonight, I thought. Involved in everything and would have got my vote for MotM if Griffiths hadn't bagged a hat-trick.

Well done, wee man.

If only he could tackle like Lambert.

He's been much better in the middle than on the wing but pulls out of tackles too often for my liking.

Still, he's progressing.

If only Lambert could tackle like Lambert at 23. Paul was late to develop into that defensive role.

Very true. Lambert really matured as a player and started to fulfill his early potential only after he left Motherwell and moved deeper on the park at Dortmund.

Between his tracking back and the way he recycled possession, always showing for the pass, even coming deep for the ball, he was brilliant last night. I like the way he zips the ball into feet, none of the lazy passing that we often to see from Johansen or Izaguirre.
