I do agree that he is more suited to European football though.

I'm not the Bhoy's biggest fan but I'll always give him credit when it's due... he was excellent last night.

He could not have been more smug in his post match interview and you can't blame him.

Involved in everything and great finish for the goal. Maybe getting dropped spurred him on.

has his limitations physically but is the kind of technical, keep it moving player that we traditionally despair at the lack of whenever we play in Europe. Hope he can keep it up

Played well tonight.

He may be more suited to European football than domestic games. Like Kenny Miller was.
Mon tae feck Remy, that’s petted lip stuff.

Best game he’s had in the jersey and you compare him to that cretin. :nono:

He can pass, got a good first touch, good engine, scores goals, very rarely gives the ball away.
What more do we want from a midfield player? The boy can play.

There’s no doubt that McGregor from time to time, is capable of putting in some really good performances. Last night was one of them.

Children please  We've just had a good European home win, calm it down with the finger pointing and enjoy the feelgood factor while it lasts. We're all miserable bastards at the best of time after all

I was at the game celebrating like a maddie and a group of wee laptop fannies all can’t wait to point score on their hero. He played well last night. He doesn’t play well too often but has played better in europe than domestically.

In what way? Kenny Miller was a far more effective player in europe, and internationally, for us than he was domestically.

Because Kenny Miller is a disgusting rodent, obvs.

There are other examples you could have used, like Jarosik or Samaras.

Getting on a bit
[ * * * * * * * * * * ]
Did so well because there was a real solid unit behind him in Brown, Ntcham and Kouassi. That allowed him to use his mobility in areas where losing the ball didn’t immediately expose our defence which happened more when he was playing further back in midfield!

he was as good as any player in the team last night but he needs to be a bit less greedy and be a bit more aware of what the best option is like he should have passed to Dembele when Kouassi set him up in the first half. Cracking wee player though and I was one of his biggest critics. Happy to be wrong.
