He’s become he go to person to criticise even when other players are putting in a far worse shift

Sinclair was awful today - terrible and missed a ridiculous sitter. Dembele was poor and his touch and passing were terrible - even Tierney made a poor pass or two (and he did today) and no one got a moan from the crowd like McGregor did

Nowhere near the worst player today - second half was poor all round mind you but he’s getting singled out when far ‘bigger’ players are letting us down

Dembele isn’t fit - he’s was always going to struggle.

McGregor hasn’t kicked his arse since the Bayern game and is playing 90m every game despite offering the square root of feck all.

powderpuff , i honestly think we would see an improvment in our performances if he wasnt in the team, not saying he isnt a tryer im saying he isnt good enough.

He did more than the square root of eff all today - first half especially but the whole team didn’t have as good a second half - especially the midfield

He’s contributed plenty and yeah, like quite a few he’s not playing as well as he has been - yet he gets more grief for that than some of our superstars who have been playing terribly - Guys who should not be missing sitters or should have a better touch - we should expect more from the superstars - yet we give someone who may never been seen as a ‘star’ more grief when he has a ‘better’ game, albeit in a poor overall performance than others

Sinclair performance has eff all to do with McGregor.

McGregor is howling. Offers eff all forward or back .

A waste of a jersey. Sinclair at least contributes.

He didn’t today - Sinclair was poor today

Poorer than McGregor - and like I said we shoulda really expect more from players like Sinclair but we give them more sympathy for being shampooe than other players

You don't like him - fine - in my opinion your summation of his attributes is over the top

I'm not a huge Sinclair fan at all.

McGregor is a liability. And his position is so crucial to the team that he's the main cause of the problems We're having. Some of it isn't his fault cause he's not a 10. But some of it is because he's not a good footballer.

He's needs dropped.

I agree he is not a ‘10’ and is filling in essentially until Rogic Armstrong or Roberts can play type of thing

Just feel he gets zero patience while others who we should be entitled to expect more from and who are playing in their preferred positions

Patience?

How many games has he played in a row since the Bayern game? He’s playing 90 mins when there’s been games his maximum should have been 45. Ntcham has sat on the sidelines in games where its been abundantly clear that McGregor has been our weakest performer for the last couple of months.

Kouassi got on for the last 20 mins which allowed Brown to drive forward more.

We’ve drawn or lost games when McGregor has been the weak link yet Ntcham gets hooked or doesn’t even start games ahead of him and we’ve got Kouassi who can’t get near the side.

He doesn’t have the confidence to have a shot and often looks to shift it to someone else. He rarely goes past people or influences a game.

He’s mostly neat and tidy but is happy just to keep the ball moving and remain on the fringe of games.

Needs to offer much more than he has been

I thought McGregor was rubbish today. Offered absolutely nothing. Should have got the hook instead of Forrest. Had no idea how to play in the wider area to help Boyata.

Baffled he got 90 minutes again. He is to Rodgers what mulgrew was to Lennon. Should be a squad player at most.

In the first half he was decent. Second half most of the team were poor, I wouldn't single him out.

The worry is when we get the new pitch up and running as McGregor' passing on the deck is frustratingly woeful.

Wasn't really fair to stick him on the wing, mental decision. (unless Forrest was injured)

This. Still needs dropped as he's not good enough to play as a 10.

“Neat and tidy” Arghh :brickwall:

He’s not good enough to be a mainstay in this Celtic team. A squad player at best. Don’t even think he should play as a #10 when coming on as a sub. He’s better the further deep he plays. Far too unimaginative and one footed to play high up.

Needs a rest. Can still improve but needs to do so from the bench.

Mulgrew was a far, far better player for us. Bad in some patches but really performed in some big games - CL assist machine as well from corners.
