I've defended him a bit recently but he's been poor in the last two games (good assist at Stranraer apart) he's an OK squad player but he's never going to make it, hopefully this wee spell in the first team and his successful loan down south will see us get a few quid for him.
I wouldn't sell him. I've been watching him closely this season and been very impressed with his football intelligence and link-up play. I also think this boy will score plenty of goals for Celtic.
Glad you aint one of our scouts. You are a terrible judge of a player. He has scored a few fair enough but there is absolutely nothing else to his game.

He lacks intelligence. His passing is awful. He slows the game down. He has poor vision. Struggles to read a game and is very lightweight. The praise he gets is mind boggling.

Oh boy, I wish I had your intelligent judgement of a player. ;) I know you are a supporter of Ronny (so am I, at least for now), so do you think Ronny is as poor a judge of a player as me, because he obviously rates McGregor?

Not currently an RD fan. Not getting into that debate as its already been done.

Yes he is a very bad judge in this case because McGregor offers nothing. I really could give negatives all night about him but I will stick to those I have given. The ones that are there for all to see.

I honestly think he would be better if deployed as a striker, he doesn't influence games enough to be a midfielder and isn't fast enough to be a winger. His main attribute is goal scoring, I also think he played as a striker at Notts County? Either way he's not good enough to be a regular here.

McGregor would be nowhere near the first team if Brown and Mulgrew were fit and Bitton not suspended. Doesn't mean RD is a fan, more that he needs to fill a gap.

He rated him enough to hardly use him last season from about October onwards.

He's in team this season due to a combination of injuries and lack of form.

Wish he was back at Notts County, the boy is not good enough.

Agree, he could have a decent career somewhere but not with us. Hopefully we get some cash for him.

Except me, because I'm such a poor judge of a player that I even liked Griffiths before he became popular. :(

He's had a few nice assists this season - quality first time passes/through balls. Not bad for an awful passer with zero vision.

Nothing wrong with your Griffiths judgement  Always seen a player and stuck up for him on here.

He'd probably be best as a number 10. At times he's decent at going by a man and actually can play some very encisive passes (mixed in with utterly abysmal ones too).

Never a CM and if the rumours are true we have been re-training him there it's a pretty poor reflection of the management team.

might be wrong but did Deila not give him a five year contract immediately after he arrived..he is maybe playing him to try to justify the contract... I agree with the majority...I can`t even undestand how he is anywhere near the first team and ..yes i am taking into consideration we are as weak as we have been in years

Not even close to being good enough in my opinion.

Hopefully by this time next year he'll be on the outskirts of a much better midfield once we get a decent right sided winger and holding midfielder.
