I feel when he comes into the team after a spell out, he plays a lot of good stuff. He does a lot of running and plays the ball simple when he first comes back in, almost like he is easing himself into it. I feel when he is more comfortable in the team, he then tries to make more things happen and it causes him to take more shots or play more through balls, which I don't think is the strongest part of his game. I'm a fan of his, and always felt the criticism he got in the Deila team was wrong as he was contributing well to the team, but lately his performances have been terrible.

I thought he got into a lot of very good positions today, things just not coming off for him at the moment.

He's a clever wee player. I'd rather him than Armstrong atm.

I wanted to see us go with Brown, Armstrong and Ntcham but don't think it works, we need someone like McGregor in there but he's not playing well. Should have scored 2 today.

Excellent start to the game. Fell away but kept working. Harsh OTT criticism as per whilst Ntcham gets undue praise. Odd.

That header back into his own box was crazy.

He has a lot of skill, generally a good passer of the ball, and an eye for goal, but he's just too lightweight for a central midfielder. Too easily brushed off the ball, and poor in the tackle would be being kind to him. In Europe he looks out of his depth most of the time. If he did put some muscle on he'd lose a bit of mobility maybe, which is his biggest asset. Going forward we need better.

I like McGregor as a player, but he's a flat track bully. Great guy to have in the team when all is going well but he's got a real tendency to hide when its not.

Doesn't show for the ball and it puts a lot of pressure on the centre halfs when we try to play out from the back. Needs to be a lot braver.

He has a definite benefit to the squad especially when coming off the bench but he's not your big game starter.

Yes he is. His decision making is absolutely appalling and he has offered nothing lately.

he's off form but he's not playing in a position where we should just stick with him, especially when it means ntcham is stuck on the bench

that's a ludicrous decision

Go back and watch that entire first half. He was the only midfielder linking play and successfully too.

He was utterly pish mate. I don't need to watch anything again. If you think he was anywhere need half decent his woeful shot in the first half must have hit you and gave you concussion

Thought he did fine today, better than Armstrong no worse or better than brown. Our midfield 3 bossed the first half. Our full backs and wingers were abysmal.

His possession was great. He linked play continually for us. People want to harp on about those two shots and the one in he second half to prove their point, fine.

Terrible. Played like a wee boy. Bullied and his decision making was dreadful. Needs put back on the bench for a long time.
