Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Agreed, the McGregor/Armstrong/Brown three is fine( ish) for Europe for legs etc, but when we play loads behind the ball you need the guy to see the pass or create a yard of space.

Ntcham deserves a chance.
Wouldn't be averse to him playing.

Where does McGregor play if Rogic starts?
If Rogic starts, and he should when fit, then McGregor or Armstrong alongside Brown would be the other two midfield starts right now.
McGregor doesn't ever play as one of the two deep midfielders.

He plays in front of Brown and Armstrong/Ntcham.

I'd be interested to know how often both McGregor and Rogic have started games and I'd wager it's not very often.

Really? Bartley was man marking him, or trying to, when we had the ball. Had a couple of good runs but it was a tough game for him and he did well.

I am not blaming McGregor as there is a reason he is getting picked, the poor form of other players, but is there a correlation of our poor form and McGregor starting more games?

I think having him in there instead of an on song Rogic (which he hasn't been this season) is making a difference. We need big Tam back at it.

McGregor is an easier pick. Most the time he either plays well or average. When Rogic plays he’s either brilliant or horrendous. A few times this season Rogic has been absolutely dire.

I’d still be picking Rogic though.

Should have got a penalty. Good run and pass for the goal. Deserves his place at the moment due to Armstrong and rogic being so poor.

I think its worth giving Rogic a start midweek, McGregors played a lot recently and it would be great to see Rogic back on form.

Doesn't deserve it at 10. Isn't remotely good enough for the position.

Today was a back passing under no pressure masterclass.

Like a lot of our players a little bit off form but still a willing worker who covers a lot of grass....A wee break of two games might benefit him

I prefer him in the slightly deeper (Armstrong) position rather than in the 10.

Rogic has his moments but can he be relied on? I doubt it.

He's poor defensively. Better going forward. Hasn't been at his best recently but definitely better further forward for me.

More game to game knee jerk reactions. Only a few games ago he was brilliant now hes crap. Truth is inbetween probably. A decent player who mostly does a very good job but who has room for improvement.
