Don't think he's as bad as some make out - 'physically sick'

He's never a holding midfielder though.

Think Henderson is a better player too.

McGregor is too weak to be a midfielder imo - we need a strong guy in there - won't be a long term first tea m player - Scott Allan is better imo ;)

He's had a good season so far, I think the stick he's taking is a bit harsh.

Never a defensive midfielder, but at least he is willing to put in a shift.

Always willing, plenty of energy, makes himself available for a pass, can make good passes, doesn't tend to switch off or quit. Is a team player, can score goals.

If he could get a bit stronger and we found the right place in a team for him, I think he'd be a very good player.

We should sign Robson again and coax Hartley back for a bit of dig in there.

Hopefully Cole can get a game too and we can start lumping balls up to him.

McGregor isn't a bad player, I just don't think he is good enough to play regularly at Celtic, handy squad player, seems to be the type managers love, just gets on with it. He would probably flourish elsewhere in the SPL. I'm not a fan, but at least he gives his all, unlike some.

Too greedy. When we have Commons playing as well it's just overkill.

There was one point in the first half last night where he had a few Celtic players to his left and a couple of United players right in front of him and he shot from about 35 yards :ffs:

To be honest, Celtic had countless attacking situations last night where opportunities were missed due to poor choices/misplaced passes, best example the 4v1 where Johansen was eventually hauled back by Gunning, he delayed passing far too long and the chance was gone. Could easily have been 7 or 8 last night. Armstrong was also guilty of cutting in and trying to score a few times when he could have looked up and picked someone out in the box, which to be fair, he did for Common's goal. Griffiths just needs the service, give him plenty and he will score a barrowload.

Agree with this, he's okay but nowhere near the standard we should be hoping to achieve in the team.

I absolutely hate it when footballers hide and that's not something that could ever be aimed at him.

But, I think sometimes he'd be better off hiding.

Physically he was quite poor but in most other areas he did well.

If his name was Alessio Magregario we'd be talking about how there's a player there if we could build him up a bit.

He did not have a shocker. He played his part in a good team performance.I think some people don't like his hair or something.

I've defended him a bit recently but he's been poor in the last two games (good assist at Stranraer apart) he's an OK squad player but he's never going to make it, hopefully this wee spell in the first team and his successful loan down south will see us get a few quid for him.

I wouldn't sell him. I've been watching him closely this season and been very impressed with his football intelligence and link-up play. I also think this boy will score plenty of goals for Celtic.
