Delighted with this. Has really turned his career around, and looks like he is getting better and better. Great option to have.

I will say though, if fans are going to insist on calling him 'CalMac' we should punt him so no one ever has to hear that.

Excellent news, showed signs of potential when Ronny was here but never consistent enough. Kicked on under Brendan and certainly deserves a new deal.

Is that him "made it with us"?

Good news; an excellent squad player and verging on more often 1st team than not.

I remember watching a lot of his age group - Watt, George, Twardzik brothers and McGeouch. No way did I think he'd be the one to breakthrough and get this number of appearances and goals for Celtic. Just shows you how far an attitude can take you. Some absolute rubbish posted about him on here too...I wonder how many go to games.

Now for that Scotland call up.

A lot of "good wee player" and "handy to have around" condescending comments, but I believe he's far better than that and should be starting every game. Has more of an impact in how we play than Armstrong or Rogic.

that's nonsense.

No-one is being condescending. He's a decent squad player who will play 20/25 games a season for us. To suggest he should be a first pick ahead of Rogic and Armstrong is complete nonsense.

Rubbish. Rogic is a far, far better player and Armstrong got 15 goals last season.

He's a good player, and not easy to replace within our budget. Can play multiple positions, and does well in all of them. Happy with this.
