A big argument for tonight seems to be the "do we play Armstrong or Rogic" but nobody's brought up McGregor, is he worth a shot given his recent form and ability to create space for other players?

I'd have McGregor in the team tonight, his ball retention and his work rate sway it for me but theres no doubt that Armstrong is one of Brendan's top men and it'll in all likelihood be him and Ntcham beside Broony

he's great at recycling and looking after the ball and finding wee bits of space between the lines and the odd incisive pass but I don't think it will be that type of game, sadly. Would prefer Armstrong's energy and pace

thought he could've been a good option last night not that it would have made a ton of difference

I think he would have made a huge difference in our attacks. No way he would have left the wide players without support like Armstrong and Rogic did.

yeah agreed was thinking his work rate/energy would be a good reason to select him...would've picked him over Armstrong

Thoroughly deserved.

Good to see we are being proactive with extending our players' contracts.

I will say though, if fans are going to insist on calling him 'CalMac' we should punt him so no one ever has to hear that.

Good to see him get rewarded for his efforts. Really important part of the squad and someone who is more than deserving of praise.

Think he got a five year deal off Ronny about a fortnight after he scored they couple of goals in European qualifying.

Aye, Strachan should be on his way towards the turn of the year.
