It's great to see a young man so far down the ratings, in the past, now potentially worth more than the entire New Rangers team.

Scotland's best technical footballer by a country mile.

Deserves to start the cup final.

And the Scotland v England game at Hampden alongside Brown and Armstrong.
And Gordon and Tierney, and Griff.

Love watching this wee guy.
No airs or graces, just a tidy wee very competent and skillfull player.
Chipping in with goals a lot more now, and has come very far under Rodgers who seems to like him very much.
Great touches, and gets into fantastic positions too.
At the moment is in the first 11 on merit.
Well played young Callum, keep it up.

He reminds me a bit of Charlie Adam in that his general play isn't good but he's liable to score a goal because he's got a decent shot on him.
I think that's a fair comparison, and one we should be using when marketing him to English sides with more money than sense. The fact that Adam built a decent career for himself in the EPL is a constant source of amazement for me. McGregor could potentially have similar luck I suppose.
This was my first post in this thread - me and the Green Lantern comparing him to the useless lump of shampooe that is Charlie Adam :o

Goes to show how much we know about fitba I suppose

Anyway, if it wasn't for a certain P. Roberts then Callum McGregor would be a lock for POTM in May. He should probably still get the award ahead of Paddy anyway, he's been genuinely outstanding recently.

There's a few better ones than that on this thread from the experts.

I must admit, I was one of his doubters over the last couple of years, but he's certainly more than come onto a game now. His work rate alone has been sensational lately. Hope he keeps it up. Well done Callum

Fast becoming the Iniesta of the side.

:twitch:

Andres Iniesta? Really?

If it's between Rogic and Cal Mac for a starting place in the final, I'd play the ferryman.

I honestly never imagined I'd be saying that, but he deserves a place on recent form.

Amazing what having a manager who installs confidence in you can achieve.

He looks like a completely different player these days and is playing with a swagger that is a joy to watch.

Playing extremely well and probably ahead of Tommy Rogic for the cup final. Rogic does like a big performance v the Sheep though.

McGregor has done more to be in the next Scotland squad than John McGinn, but you just never know with Strachan.

Fast becoming the Iniesta of the side.

I'd have been sectioned if I thought that was possible earlier in the season.

But credit to the boy. He's been superb for months.
My mates pished themselves at me for saying that.

Glad I'm not the only one

If we want to beat England we should. I'm still pinching myself that we actually have 7 Scots in the first team squad. Plus Henderson, Ralston, and Johnston knocking on the door.

He doesn't score many bad goals and hitting double figures is a good return for a midfielder. He's taken his chance since Rogic got his injury and he'd be my pick for a starting bearth in the cup final. I still wish he would look up and play the pass a bit quicker when the option is there but so much of our good play comes from his movement and way he finds space. Always a goal in him too.
