Just read first 18 pages of this thread.......

Poor man's ross wallace.

Looks like Ozil but plays like olive oil.

One post says, ive been watching him closely, good wee player, links up well, will score a lot of goals for Celtic....... glad ur not a scout is a reply.

The Deila effect unfortunately, hard times. Great to see the turnaround.
I, for one, am stunned that football fans can be so fickle
Or that a player can improve.

Classed him as a modern day charlie mulgrew on Saturday

He's an excellent squad player , can fill a few positions, can be relied upon to do a job.

Unlike Charlie, he can actually do a job in some of them :ph43r:

Charlie had his moments at celtic and there was a phase when he was first name on the team sheet :ph43r:
POTY, he had plenty of moments.

Aye. I don't understand how folk find it so hard to understand that he has massively improved since then

I'm not sure it's to do with short memories.
Some folk just act daft as a subtle form of trolling.

He has improved but I think he's always been a neat and tidy player. I think he suffered a bit from being promoted too early by Deila and by being associated by his time in charge. His drastic improvement isn't really the case, he has improved a bit but he's always been competent.

A lot of the crap was over the top, improvement of course is part of development, which takes time.

Been interested in the comments in this thread about Callum McGregor, and one on this page from Bagheera certainly resonates "He has improved but I think he's always been a neat and tidy player. I think he suffered a bit from being promoted too early by Deila and by being associated by his time in charge. His drastic improvement isn't really the case, he has improved a bit but he's always been competent."

I decided to take a detailed look at his performance data. I think we have a highly intelligent young footballer who has found a way to carve a role for himself despite perhaps not being the best player in any position. But he seems to learn so there is always hope.

Excellent work. Not to notpick but the first table says he has never been injured (or at least hadn't missed any games through injury in last 4 years).

He broke his ankle at the end of RD's first season (some time in April) and this meant he missed pre-season and the start of RD's second season.

It was a sign of how far he'd fallen out of picture at celtic that it got so little press coverage.

I think that one thing that have helped him is that Rogic have been out injured, so his midfield partners have been Armstrong and Brown

With Rogic in the team we play 2 midfielders behind him, but with him out, the midfield have been more dynamic, allowing Armstrong and McGregor to play more as box to box midfielders which suits their game better IMO
