I can see him being here for years to come. Homegrown, still young although not a kid any more, good movement, touch and passing absolutely fine, composed in and around the box against a packed defence and can pop up with a goal. I doubt he would ever hold down a place week in week out but there is always room for someone like him in the squad.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
If he keeps proving you wrong why don't you think he's good enough?
I don't think he's got quite enough of anything to be first choice in any position. He's a good footballer though and given the consistency and impact he's made this season I am willing to accept that I may have misjudged his ability.
He's a first choice just now

Never doubted his effort but always questioned whether he was good enough. To come in and do a job the way he has this season tells me I was wrong and he is good enough. Vital member of the squad now and all credit to him.

Yet again the warmest praise from his manager after the game

Says he needs players who are tactically aware because of the way we play and the changes within games

That's what he's got with McGregor

I'm glad you have mustered a glint of willingness to accept that you may have misjudged him especially over the terribly short period of 90 odd games and producing over a dozen goals to the good.

He's starting to get the plaudits his play this season has deserved. Well worthy of his place in the team. Chuffed for him

McGregor and Brown bossed the midfield when it mattered today. Thought McGregor was MOM, wish we had a song for him!

Lovely wee touches and passages of play through a thick defence. Kept to his task and a composed finish for our first. In the team on merit.

Always liked him, doesn't hide, has a great attitude, listens & can deliver on tactics.
His goal was straight out of the tactic book today.

Had a great turn in his own half, took out 2 players & ran with the ball deep into their half - great effort.
Very glad for him, deserves to be starting right now & is a much better option than Bitton.

Thought he had a very good game. Hope he's with us for years. He'll always give his all.

Brown's out for the game at Ibrox? Armstrong and Mcgregor sitting behind Rogic should be interesting. I imagine Armstrong will step up with ease with Callum alongside him.

You know I forgot about him :ffs: I wouldn't start him at Ibrox the way he throws himself about just yet; certain red card.
