Not jis biggest fan but thought he was excellent today. Brilliant and composed finish for the goal but his energy and availability were nearly as impressive.

Very under-rated player who has improved leaps and bounds this season.

Played very well today and more than justified his starting place, goal was sublime. Really classy finish.

Agree with this. Don't think he's good enough, but he keeps proving me wrong.

If he keeps proving you wrong why don't you think he's good enough?

Played really well today and took his goal with class and composure.

Has been a bit part player for most of the season, not a regular first teamer, but has not let his head go down, and it showed today.

Well done son, keep it up.

IMO he was the MOTM today. Was everywhere and the goal he scored was effing sexy.

High praise from Brendan post match and it was merited.

He's contributed well this season when he's been asked and today was the best I've seen him play.

McGregor was excellent today, what a superb finish for his goal. :worthy:
Over the last year or so he has came on leaps and bounds from the player who I though resembled a dog chasing a ball about.

A finish Darren MacGregor's knee would be proud of :theclap:

In all seriousness the wee man was great today, cult hero in the making, and now has the rank of hunskelper

Delighted for him given some of the stick he's received. Just look back ten pages ago.

He hasn't changed that much, not to Armstrong level anyway. He has always been good.

The collective aggressive witch-hunt just seemed to blind some of the easily led fans and Brendan has cured the blind and healed the sick.

great goal today,

Flourishes in a Midfield 3 hence come on well in BR 433, i think he would struggle in a midfield 2

I don't think he's got quite enough of anything to be first choice in any position. He's a good footballer though and given the consistency and impact he's made this season I am willing to accept that I may have misjudged his ability.
