The gamble by not buying had bit us on the Arse not once but twice, the reaction at the end hasn't been seen for years in the ground, it's merited.

Also Pauls blog on cqn, does this guy ever criticise PL? He is so far up his Erchie it is unreal.
Yesterday, Paul was waxing lyrical about Celtic being most dangerous in the final 15 minutes as a result of the weekend's rest, while Maribor would tire due to falling 'glycerol' levels. :ponder: :cuckoo:

He's Peter's online spokesman.

Yep. What will the board do now? They surely have to do something or crowds will dwindle even more. Not signing a striker has cost us big time. There'd too much deadwood in the squad. Won't be easy to shift out the shampoo players.

Are the good folk at KDS not going to put a Desmond/ Lawwell GTF banner up, instead of the Legia player MOTM?

4 or so pages on this since last night says it all. We as a support dont have the stomach for any sort of protest against the current incumbants because sadly there is a lot of fans who probably think the board are doing a good job and fall into the trap of 'look what happened to sevco' line.

The manager will fall before the CEO does, thats invariably the way things work at a football club. Can see this being the case here too. This has been coming for the best part of 3 or so years now. Neil Lennon leaving the club he loves without even having a job to go to? Alarm bells shouldve been ringing then

Would get my vote.

Celtic employees to be removed asap

1. Lawwell - the biggest danger to our Club, he's done more damage to us than any opponent in recent years

2. Park - Amido Balde and Mo Bangura. The prosecution rests.

3. Deila - Not your fault, Ronny, but you should never have been appointed. You are way out of your depth.

Two bites in one season at a minimum of £15 million + against teams any half decent Celtic team would beat and we feck up - Plan sure is working as PL picks him his million a year.

Not to worry I await his wee bonus deferral this year again. :ffs:

His legacy when he eventually goes/raps it will have been to feck up the Club on the park and downsize the Support literally and in terms of their hopes and aspirations - As remy said a few weeks ago he should never be allowed to downsize a Celtic Supporter's expectations.

As for those who argue for his fiscal prudence - Any half decent accountant let alone CEO could do that but most with Celtic in their heart would have got the balance right or at least better than he has.

While a lot of the focus will quite rightly be on Lawwell's mismanagement of the club, I think it's about time there were more calls for Desmond to sell up and GTF as well.

He's the one who sets the tone for everything, he's the one who's kept Lawwell in a job despite it being obvious for years now that he's not up to it, he's the one who can rarely be arsed to turn up to AGMs but would never miss a Champions League game, he's the one who uses his massive voting power to ensure that the club's employees aren't paid a living wage.

In fact, get all of the board to eff. We're told that politics have no place in sport and yet every one of them (and yes I include Brian Wilson in this) is a Tory bastard. Running a club supported by the most left wing fans in the most left wing city in Britain. How the eff did that happen?

The board and the majority owner's answers to the questions posed to us - how to deal with EPL financial doping and what we can do to improve our competitive environment have been lacking.

That Lawwell has his fingerprints everywhere tells us hes been here too long.

No ideas coming from them, no direction from the owner to move us forward

The more I think on it, the more it just seems like they shut up shop to save on wages as winning the SPL and hoping to sneak into the group stage year on year with the squad is cheaper.

Last year we dicked around until 3 days before the window shut, Van Dijk the only decent signing at the start of the summer but even after that we needed a new centre half to replace Wilson.
Bang on.

A lot of people think Van ijk was signed to replace Wilson, but that was never the case. neil clearly said he planned to play them together, which would have left us with 2 fairly strong, quick centre backs, and ambrose as a fairly capable third choice. Now... we have a guy who has never played senior football, is undersized and on loan, we have a right back shoehorned in there, and we are at serious risk of losing Van Dijk.

The defensive unit last year worked well, although they lacked cover after wanyama was sold and not replaced. Barca ran riot, but over the season, our 'back 5' was the strongest part of the team.

now, we are a defensive shambls, while our rookie manager bleats on about the importance of wingers.

We are being taken for mugs here, by a Board/Chief Exec who know exactly what they are doing.

He's Peter's online spokesman.
He has been Lawwell's online mouthpiece for some time now.
That blog has lost any credibility it may have had. He should have come out today and condemned the board, scouts etc. At what cost do you forgot first and foremost you are a celtic fan? He is quite happy to take the scraps thrown to him by Peter and be completely spineless in his assessments. I am also wondering when he became a fully qualified tactical analysist?

I also think Donald Park shouldn't be missed here. He had supposedly identified VVD and Wanyama. That's 2 players out of how many that have been complete duds. His strike rate is awful and he needs emptied.

A board full of bean counters with no vision or aspiration-none.

The fundamental business logic of a successful team competing at the top table and putting bums on seats seems to escape them.

If APOEL have the resources and nous to get through qualifying so should we-anyone spouting this our level now should be hunted.

The incompetent arrogant One.Six-Million-Dollar-Man Lawwell will only be booted out on his overpaid arse when and if the owner-by-proxy decides.
The cowardly Desmond, the man who rules the roost but avoids the blame by pretending simply to be a mere shareholder, will decide the fate of Lawwell.
And, since he seems to be delighted with the useless tosser, nothing will change unless Desmond goes.
