They've shagged the golden goose down to it's last egg. Once Van Dijk leaves, there's eff all money left to make from selling off our best 'assets'. Plus we're no longer good enough to make the Champions League. It's the law of diminishing returns. But Lawwell will make his bonus again this year. Good for him.

And you'll all effing love it. You bunch of tramps. Buy more season tickets. Buy more merchandise. Just #because.

Remember the old board? Remember that auld boy, in the video, moments before, "...the war is over, the rebels have won" bit? Remember what he said? "Keep yer money in your pocket. It's the only message they'll understand". It's true. The effers know only one language. Starve them of that. They've already essentially done the hard work by keeping the guaranteed Champions League money from themselves. Eff them. Get them out.

Know something, we're the exact same as the huns. Stadiums the same, fans are the same but it's not the same club.
Wtf does that mean? Stay off the glue.
Try it, you'd be better off.

Better still, keep paying for tickets and merchandise like a good, true authentic Celtic fan. That's the way forward. Go on son.

Coming back to Scotland after a 3 year absence and as much as it pains me, I'll be staying well away from Celtic Park until something changes at the top. We are being treated for mugs.

edit: or taken

Continuous downsizing in the playing squad and managers office has left us where we are.

The board are only all too aware of the emotional attachment supporting Celtic brings and that the replicas, the merchandise and the season tickets will still be sold.

Until we cease the money river that flows to Peter Lawell's door we'll continually be pumped for our hard earned cash.

I haven't renewed my season ticket for the last couple of seasons as I can't make it to Glasgow every home game. I manage to about half the home games.
I won't be spending another penny on the club till Lawwell is gone. The club only care about the money and balance sheet, the football is no longer important to the board.

Time to make a stand against the current board and Desmond.
I won't be back till Lawwell is gone. Time we hit them where it hurts, the balance sheet.

Any other CEO who had made decisions that have failed and cost the company so much money would have been forced to walk the plank
Not a chance of that happening with this charlatan - feck, he'll probably get a bonus!!
It depends how many KPIs he is hitting/missing.

It would be interesting to know exactly what Peter's remit is in terms of measurable success as defined by the board.

Whilst I get the anger directed at Lawell, surely the problem is higher up then that. He is merely a puppet for Dermot Desmond. The only way they will take notice if fans dont go, those who already have season tickets quite rightly wont boycott league games as it would make no difference as club already have the money. The only way to make a stance is to not buy Europa Leage tickets. Let the club see enough is enough. I dont expect "blue chip" players but we were crying out for strengthening last summer, we got weaker and the same this season. Mubarak and Scepovic may well sign today but its too late. Signings should have been made prior to qualifying campaign.

Every season ticket holder should cancel the direct debit to the home ticket cup scheme this morning. Feck them why should they get our money automatically.

Everybody that attends games should avoid paying for food and drink inside the ground - bring crisps/sweets/capri suns in for the kids

Stop feeding the bastard board who continue to bank of the faithful through and through mentality.

Continue however with the protests outside the ground and continue with the anti board chants during the game. Lets ramp the pressure up on these halfwits and get our club back.

I wasn't surprised by last nightsresult because the team aren't good enough I was raging we have been allowed to slide into mediocrity so quickly.

Lawwell isn't the only problem. He's definitely a major contributor to this unnecessary mess we placed ourselves in, but he isn't the only one. All the blame at his door is unfair. Collectively, the entire boardroom has run us that low on the playing field, that they've now even shot themselves on the foot financially after last night. Is THAT the wake up call they needed? Probably. It did take years of hurt with sevco winning 3 in a row and several champions league absences for them to buy wanyama, Hooper, Forster, Ledley etc. But even if last night was a much needed wake up call, they'll do the same as last time, and dither for years, leaving more footballing massacres in their wake before/if they get it right again. We can't afford to wait that long, we now don't have that luxury. Scottish football is in a far worse condition than it was a few years ago that it's scary. We can't afford to keep missing out on the champions league windfall multiple times like we did a few years back. We NEED to starve them in the pockets for them to listen. Short term pain for long term gain and all that.

To not have spent a penny this summer despite being as "financially secure as we have ever been" is unforgivable. We've had the chance over the past 2 years to steadily grow and improve yet we've ended up going backwards. Whatever the strategy was it hasn't worked

What really irks me is the fact our first choice front three this season will probably be Scepovic through the middle with Wakaso and Tonev on the flanks. Two of these guys weren't signed in time to feature in our biggest game of the season and Tonev, though injured, was also signed late so wasn't able to work with the team during pre season. We've known since October last year at the latest that we were going to win the SPFL title and be playing CL qualifiers early on. Yet we've not been prepared for it. We're scrambling around at the eleventh hour trying to secure work permits. Our transfer business needs to be done much earlier but we get caught out by this every single year. Amateurish.

Why does it take over a week to get a work permit?
