Yes, and I know full well the way the media works here but I still find it astonishing that nobody has sought comment from Celtic regarding this.
Do you know they haven't tried to interview PL?

I don't think PL would give an interview. He's holding all the cards just now while Regan is running around recycling his lies to anyone who'll listen.

Exactly. It's like that Napoleon quote, “Never interfere with your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

East Stirling kicked out of Scottish Cup over ineligible player (2011)

Dunfermline kicked out of Scottish Cup for 'breaches of competition rules' (two ineligible players - 2010)

Spartans thrown out of Scottish Cup over ineligible player mistake (2011)

Albion Rovers thrown out of cup for ineligible player (2017)

Brechin booted out of Scottish Cup (two ineligible players, 2008)

Did the SFA require emails or phone calls from any members clubs, never mind the majority of them, before they felt obliged to act in any of the above cases?

They haven't done their job, so they are obliged to answer our concerns, as their failure affects us.

If that means having to do uncomfortable interviews (Don Vincenzo Coccotti would have had a field day) then that's tough luck.

We beat them over the great flag flutter, the Jorge Cadete incident, the Dougiegate scandal and we'll beat them over this. They're in the wrong and they know it.

I see this post has made its way on to CQN on FB!
This is what I struggle to understand? Did it require a LNS style character to sit and deem it was appropriate to throw these clubs out of the respective tournaments they had breached the rules for or was the decision made by the SFA/football authorities? If it was done by SFA/football authorities why wasn't the deid Huns decision not handled by them. It was after all a straightforward rule break that meant disqualification.

Hopefully it's a case of 'never interfere with your enemy when he is making a mistake' and PL is biding his time to nail Regan.
Beaten to it. :(

Is that not the point though? That nobody has said at the end of their report, we contacted Celtic but they have refused to comment at this stage.

That is normally what happens at the end of a media report, where there are 2 sides. The fact that I've yet to see any report say something similar, tells me they don't want to get Celtics side.

Edit - just noticed the post above that sport sound confirmed they tried.

Celtic Football Club statement
By: Newsroom Staff on 09 Sep, 2017 11:30

IN the light of all information that has now become available, Celtic has been in correspondence with the Scottish Football Association in pursuit of the Club’s belief that an independent review should be commissioned to consider the events that led to the liquidation of Rangers Oldco and the governance issues arising from those events. This is exactly the same position as adopted by the SPFL board on behalf of all Scotland's 42 professional clubs.

Only Just realised the Main reason for Regan painting this as Just One Member Club.

BBC Sportsound say they invited PL as well as Doncaster but they both declined
Missed that, assumed that they hadn't asked (wrongly) because they already know the answers they would get.

Did PL suggest there would be no further comment as there is an SPFL meeting in the offing?

I believe Rangers Tax Case tweeted that the SFA received a Schedule 36 (?) from HMRC in 2009

The corrupt bastards at Hampden knew what the cheating, corrupt, criminal bastards at Ibrox were up to. The SFA are up to their necks in this scandal, hence no independent review

Edit - Schedule not section. Apologies

Things seemed to be moving quickly last weekend, now its not going fast enough for me :(

I understand these things take time but wasn't there a time limit of like 3 months after the FTTT verdict for appeal?

Can't remember exactly what it was all about, but I'm sure there was only a small window left for some reason.

Even the media must see through this lying charlatan ;)

The more they try to cover it up / ignore it the bigger the scandal will become.

What is Regan's rationale for as he states contacting all 108 clubs for their views, when there is clear evidence pointing towards illegal registration of players, cover up etc.

Since when do the administrators in any sporting body ask their clubs / people to vote on what is a clear breach of the rules.

Surely it is their role to investigate any allegations, including all new evidence, until there are no stones left unturned.

So now we vote on breaches of the rules and the majority wins.
