Yes I mean Celtic , us.

We need to think about how it works when we are left on our own. We will not be able to back down.
Why would we back down, the club are representing the views of the fans.
You are right. What could be wrong with representing the views of your fan base?

Petrie is up to his neck in this.
You do wonder about the legality of what these folk got up to in the dying days of Oldco.
He is deeply involved with charlie green and the 5 way agreement.

Petrie also has ambitions at the SFA. He would be twisting some arms on that board for sure.
Exactly so.

Petrie and Regan and doubtless others were at the centre of the events that need to be investigated. Therefore in making any decision to avoid an investigation they are hopelessly and fundamentally conflicted. Neither should be anywhere near this decision.

That's basic governance good practice. Their abysmal ignorance of the tenets of good governance is at the heart of the probl m.

Ah well, at least it's another reason to hate Hibs.

This stinks. The SPFL has asked for a review and they represent every club, what Regan with the back up of Petrie has done is put pressure on every club to come out with a statement, declare allegiance or face the wrath of the hordes.
Exactly

It's down to us. It was always down to us. And feck anyone who wants to paint us in a negative light for doing so.

This doesn't get fixed and we may as well pack up things and go home, the league will be bent forever.

People on here need to make a distinction between the people who own/ run football clubs and their supporters!
The money behind Hibs, Farts and the Dons, all owe huge debts to the same money people in Edinburgh that backed Minty.
That is a much bigger story than the football. That's why they are shampoo scared of anything that remotely resembles any sort of scrutiny!
Minty was a nobody till he was given the money to buy the deid Huns. He was not the only one who benefited from the Edinburgh based banks' largesse
Farmer, Kennedy, Grossart and no doubt Budge were all small time players until the Edinburgh based banks threw money at them.
Politically, people like Salmond and Brown were all involved in that circle of influence. That's the big story that they are afraid of, the football is only the most visible aspect of a national scandal!
What people are we talking about ?
Farmer saw his business grow from a couple of tyre shops to a national and international chain, that type of person.
Milne at Aberdeen is in to the banks for plenty. Budge likewise.

When I posted earlier tonight about the absence caused by the sad loss of Turnbull Hutton I did not realise Phil Mac had posted about him: https://philmacgiollabhain.ie/2017/09/11/time-to-go-mr-regan/. At the bottom of the article Phil has footage of an interview with TH on the steps of Hampden. TH showed no fear in calling a spade a spade, accusing the SFA and others quite openly of lies & more. Speaking and acting for truth is not the product of sectarian rivalry or selfish gain as many would try to caricature and ridicule our position.

First thing Id be doing tonight is advising the clubs who want to sweep it under the carpet that there will be no more loan players from us and that anyone from our club on loan to Hibs, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock to be returned immediately.

The overall concencous from reading other supporters message boards is that they would absolutely support an independent review and are unhappy with the stances their clubs are taking.

Boycotting would be the next stage but I have my doubts fans of the bigger clubs outside Glasgow would see it through. Aberdeen Hearts and Hibs are all making progress as clubs, new stands and stadiums etc. Would take some effort for a boycott of a decent scale to materliase.

Think we are most definitely on our own here.

Sorry about this but these posts, when looked at in the whole, are akin to some kind of ill thought out tele marketing campaign, designed to get a certain sector of society to part with it's hard earned cash.

I'm still stumped, unless of course you are actually wearing Davie's socks which would affect your sense of smell which you say you depend on.
