eff Radio Scotland. Kris Boyd on. It's so fecking negative on all things Celtic.
The Brains Trust, eh? I really value his f*cking opinion  :carrot:
The amount of shampooe, that people on that programme talk, I don't understand why I listen to it. Inane drivel even from guys you think, "he talks sense". I've stopped watching Question Time for the same reason, it just annoys the he'll out of me. :tirade:

Am I reading right that they have two fan representatives on the Board yet the decision was unanimously carried? That means the Hibs fans didn't care enough to intimate their position or have been shafted themselves.
My mates wife is one of them. Non executive role i believe would that mean she would still get a vote?
Give her a boot in the fandango next time you see her :cuckoo:

i'm especially irked by the 'no legal remedy to do anything' part of all this

that is EXACTLY why there needs to be an inquiry

it basically comes down to why did they allow the situation to develop where there was no punishment or consequence, that decision is final and binding never to be looked at again and everything was tied up in a pretty bow BEFORE all the facts were known

facts about both ebts and euro licence that the sfa themselves now admit fly in the face of the original investigation's/whitewash's conclusions and support both sporting advantage being gained (title stripping being the obvious consequence) and the fact the licence should never have been granted

that this doesn't bother other clubs is absolutely astounding

So The choice for Hibs and indeed all clubs

1. Support the call for and independent review , which would finally get to the truth good or bad about goings on over at Sevco and the SFA . justice would seen to be done and we can start again , at least knowing sporting integrity was the winner. Or

2. Do nothing and let the majority of their own fans down, let this fester and fester because of it not being resolved and let cheats win the day.

They make a statement saying they want football to move on but choose option 2 . It makes no sense at all unless there is another reason. Petrie taking over at SFA could be the reason. I would be ashamed if I was a hibs fan tonight.

This stinks. The SPFL has asked for a review and they represent every club, what Regan with the back up of Petrie has done is put pressure on every club to come out with a statement, declare allegiance or face the wrath of the hordes.

Petrie is up to his neck in this.
You do wonder about the legality of what these folk got up to in the dying days of Oldco.

So Hibs, Hearts and the sheep. Cheated out of money, trophies and Europe but wish to move on. Is there something in it for them to move on?
In Petrie's case, votes for the Presidency.
I've sat in that boardroom with Petrie and Dempster. I am not surprised by the lack of courage from Edinburgh's biggest club. They won't be ashamed.

Celtic will be left holding the baby, the cowards in the game and the media will see that as a victory. I would suggest that Celtic need to push on, through whatever means. However, these are just football clubs, ideally, a more substantial organisation will join us to arrive at the truth.

This is big enough to swallow the club if we go alone. In my opinion.

I would like to think that the hibs board has misjudged the attitude of their own fans here.

I don't think they (the SFA) can put the genie back in the bottle here, there are going to be repercussions for their mismanagement and corruption one way or another. The days of controlling the media and spinning it to suit their agenda are on the way out, this is a desperate attempt to keep a lid on things.

He is deeply involved with charlie green and the 5 way agreement.

Petrie also has ambitions at the SFA. He would be twisting some arms on that board for sure.

Kenny McIntyre, on Radio Scotland, mentioned that he knew of club official and journalists, who were 'afraid' to speak out on this.

He didn't mention who they were afraid off, but I think given the previous of one group of fans, it isn't hard to guess who. Absolutely shameful if this is the case.

If he's going to go public then at least have the conviction to say why or don't say anything at all.

People on here need to make a distinction between the people who own/ run football clubs and their supporters!
The money behind Hibs, Farts and the Dons, all owe huge debts to the same money people in Edinburgh that backed Minty.
That is a much bigger story than the football. That's why they are shampoo scared of anything that remotely resembles any sort of scrutiny!
Minty was a nobody till he was given the money to buy the deid Huns. He was not the only one who benefited from the Edinburgh based banks' largesse
Farmer, Kennedy, Grossart and no doubt Budge were all small time players until the Edinburgh based banks threw money at them.
Politically, people like Salmond and Brown were all involved in that circle of influence. That's the big story that they are afraid of, the football is only the most visible aspect of a national scandal!

Unsurprising that one team who went bust, started again and claimed the history of the defunct club backs another who done the same.

You are not really explaining what you meant in your original statement. Get to the point.
