How can these feckers genuinely call themselves reporters when they fail to tackle one of the biggest cover ups in Scottish football? :nono:
What do you expect when they can't seem to handle Rangers being liquidated and having to start again as a new club? Never mind, they, and everyone else, know deep down that they went bust because they tried to bump the queen. No amount of abseiling soldiers will ever make up for that.

It was good to see Celtic referring to liquidation in their statement though. I'm sure, whenever the orange order copywriter gets around to composing sevco's statement, they won't challenge that detail.

Read the letters on Celtic website today and noticed this. It's been scanned after being read and it looks to me like Lawwell (or someone else, but I like to think Lawwell) has underlined 'lack of trust'. It reveals that in Lawwell's opinion, Regan is a lying, corrupt, odious carrot. Maybe.

Just had a thought re. Souness and Wattie: woudn't the English FA have some jurisdiction if their purchases from Deidco were found to be hooky? :hmmm:
Smith wasn't the manager of Rangers when Souness bought all of these players except from Walters. He also as far as I can remember signed no players at Everton from them either.

The Boumsong steal stinks, in 2004 he was highly sought after like his pal Mexes and Cisse, but he signed for Rangers. He could have played in England or Italy but plumped for Scotland.

He was good up here until Mark De Vries bullied him for Hearts, vaguely remember Auxerre playing them and their striker made him look mince.
The Boumsong transfer stank at the time. You didn't need police raids or leaked documents to know that it stank. A guy that signs on a free is then sold for £8m a few months later, to a club which is managed by an ex Rangers manager, and friend of Murray!

And I have mentioned before, the Andy Webster transfer was rotten as well. Yet no one found any of this strange, other than paranoid Celtic Fans!!
How so? He was in the last year of his contract & used a clause to bin his contract then went to Wigan.

He then spent 6 months before they realised he was pish & loaned him to Oldco. The only side who benefitted was Wigan.

Hearts always made clear he wasn't going to Rangers. In the end they let him go to Wigan. Murray and Dave Whelan, owner of Wigan, sign a deal between Rangers and JJB Sports, which Whelan also owns, and Webster arrives at Rangers!

That wasn't a coincidence.

The "transfer" of Foster from Bristol City is another act of cheating. They could only sign players who were free agents, Bristol City cancel his contract and they agree a "friendly" between them. No doubt Bristol City had extremely high expenses that the huns would have paid them.

Cheating and failure to play by the rules comes naturally to them. After all they are the people.

Webster couldn't sign for another Scottish team without paying the transfer fee Hearts wanted.

He signed for Wigan. Owned by the guy who owned JJB who had a massive contract with Rangers. At the first opportunity he was at loan at Rangers.

All above board.

Wigan got him for free as it was a cross border transfer, I'm sure, oldco rangers would have had to pay a fee for him. Wigan had him fo 6 months until the 1st available transfer window, when he was given to oldco - nothing to see here, just more timmy paranoia.

As an aside, I've noticed the official Celtic site refers to games against the scum as the Glasgow derby, no more old firm nonsense - PL & co. mean business. Be interesting to see what the programme notes say when they come to CP end of December.

It's presumably because he refers to it in the September exchanges using their words against them

They've been using that expression since the huns died. It'll say Glasgow Derby, same as usual.

Can you imagine how a scandal such as this would have been handled by the English press if it were say Man Utd or Chelsea or Liverpool who did what Deidco did? They would be all over it like a rash competing to get to the truth and expose the FA.

In Scotland we have a cabal of hun sycophants closing ranks in as naked display of pure corruption as you could clearly ever come across. Vile and disgusting.

I'm not seeing the benefit though one worth going to those lengths.

January 2007, with Celtic having all but retained the title, them out of the league & Scottish Cup they could have offered Webster a pre contract and had him for the new season.

Not that it matters Webster stole a wage off them.

Tbh, the complete absence of national press coverage (Alex Thomson being the honourable exception) is pretty appalling. It's a huge story on their doorstep.
