 Good one. My favorite movie although Raquel Welch would be my poster of choice.
The film is set in the 40's and 50's. Raquel is a girl of the 60's
Actually it was a picture of Racquel Welsh that hid his escape tunnel when the warden finally discovered it.

Finally had a chance to read all the letters, and first off have to admit i was wrong about lawwell and the board who clearly have been taking the issue very seriously on our behalf and for the greater good of the game. So i'll hold my hand up on that score.

One thing is clear, the corrupt regan and co are going to cling to power at all costs. It will take their removal before any kind of justice can be delivered. The next step should surely be for peter to table a vote of no confidence in him at the next board meeting. He simply can't be allowed to carry on.
Regan is an employee, so he would have to be dealt with under disciplinary procedures... although, admittedly the board would be the relevant body to initiate the process. Don't hold your breath.

If they don't get him in that way, they will get him on the euro licensing.

Regans days have got to be numbered now.

Aye, same here. The recent silence certainly led me to fear the worst and I fair jumped the gun, but good to see the club have been taking up cudgels on our behalf.

Regan's request to publish the letters look like a poor attempt to intimidate, but Celtic don't have anything to hide on this. On the contrary...

I think the inquiry is obviously necessary, one where the rugs, brushes and whitewash have been removed from the SFA cupboards. In fact, anyone involved in any attempts to 'move on' who it transpires had a vested interest in the whole shambles should be out of a job. And if the organisation is proved to be complicit in a conspiracy to the benefit of one club then it should be disbanded.

The way these organisations work he'll be asked to resign for a healthy pay off. Theres no way they'll allow all their skeketons out of the cupboard.

I know next to nowt about politics in Scotland but it would be good to have a politician or two pressing for an enquiry. What I do know is that functionaries hate political involvement coz they cannot control it and they know politico's have a lot of buttons they can press. Let's hope this the beginning of the end of this sorry saga and that Scottish football can move forward with transparency and fairness. (Perhaps I ask to much).

Just had a thought re. Souness and Wattie: woudn't the English FA have some jurisdiction if their purchases from Deidco were found to be hooky? :hmmm:
Smith wasn't the manager of Rangers when Souness bought all of these players except from Walters. He also as far as I can remember signed no players at Everton from them either.

The Boumsong steal stinks, in 2004 he was highly sought after like his pal Mexes and Cisse, but he signed for Rangers. He could have played in England or Italy but plumped for Scotland.

He was good up here until Mark De Vries bullied him for Hearts, vaguely remember Auxerre playing them and their striker made him look mince.

I believe politicians will not want to touch this scandal with a bargepole. It's a vote loser as it would incur the wrath of the SMSM and the Klan

Souness bought a fair few Huns at Blackburn did he not - Ferguson, Kisinishvilli, Tugay all spring to mind, think there might have been more.

The Boumsong transfer stank at the time. You didn't need police raids or leaked documents to know that it stank. A guy that signs on a free is then sold for £8m a few months later, to a club which is managed by an ex Rangers manager, and friend of Murray!

And I have mentioned before, the Andy Webster transfer was rotten as well. Yet no one found any of this strange, other than paranoid Celtic Fans!!

Hugh McDonald was on Off The Ball last night, only caught the start and he eloquently explained his belief in the need for an independent enquiry (he maybe said judicial review). Was the rest of the programme worth listening to? Had to split as he was just speculating on a scenario where this affair leads to a power grab by SPFL to run Scottish football, that national associations Europe-wide have become token offices, with the respective leagues wielding the power. An interesting point, I'd have liked to heard more.
I heard a bit of that too.. derek ferguson went on to say he wanted it to stop and just move on...😂 Unsurprisingly due to his wee brother being a named EBT beneficiary...

Macdonald spoke well about the need to review. If only more journalists would take that view..

The BBC normally have podcasts a day after broadcast if you want to listen.
Hugh M went onto eloquently suggest that a way of avoiding it just being seen as Celtic being the only one clamouring for it would be for it to be considered as a review of the way the SFA operate, which would surely then encourage other clubs to join Celtic in demanding it, as almost all clubs have had some grievance with SFA operations over the years.

The SFA has showed its hand. The one thing it had left was the attempt to paint Celtic into a corner; that we are the only concerned party and this was a bitter attempt to damage our rival. The genie is now out of the bottle. The club has no reason to keep our position confidential. I hope it is now open season on Reagan.
